Also pleased to hear Rick is back for a spin off.
I used to wait up to watch the show live, but stopped following the show entirely, as soon as Rick left.
The show went to st after that weird time jump thing. I used to wait up to watch the show live, but stopped following the show entirely, as soon as Rick left.
Megan was the only upside after that. He needs his own spin off trying to be good, holding back the evil, wandering around like David Banner.

The comics screwed up IMO after they did a similar time jump, after the initial Negan arc.Megan was the only upside after that. He needs his own spin off trying to be good, holding back the evil, wandering around like David Banner.
Can’t remember what I’m up to now but they did about 4 episodes and then stopped over Covid
Season 10 episode 22 seems to be the last one according to the deleted stuff on my sky box.
Seems it’s not on Sky now though ffs !
10 years watching it and paying Sky and now the last season isn’t there.
Assume that’s why I never knew there was a season 11 as it’s not popped up on Sky

I think it's been on Disney+ for a few years? You can probbaly get a free month of it, if you're desperate. Season 10 episode 22 seems to be the last one according to the deleted stuff on my sky box.

I know I'm not the first to say it, but the ending was wk.
They're just trolling us now, pushing the "penultimate series" then the "final ever series" which was by any measure two, and then the same old ending as all the others, the end-level Boss is killed and everything is okay now.
The ending in the Comics is actually very good, I haven't read all of them, just a synopsis of how the story ends and it's a great way to do so. This ain't that, it's just a teaser for spin-offs.

Finally caught the last season (on Disney+), agree it was a let down but it didn't come as a surprise. There were a few good bits, occasions where it felt like there was some actual jeopardy rather than all the main characters being protected by plot armour, but too much of it was the same old rinse and repeat formula.
Also, is it just me or did they suddenly ramp up the bad language for the final season. I don't recall anyone dropping the F-Bomb in the previous 10 seasons, which is pretty good going for a bunch of people who've spent over a decade surviving a zombie apocalypse
I'm getting a (small) urge to watch it again from the very beginning, maybe as far as when Negan first appears. Has anyone else tried it again from the start, and how far did you get 2nd time round before you got bored?

I'm tempted to start from s1 again. We were late to the party so binged the first few seasons and were absolutely hooked on it, was brilliant. For me, it massively bogged down during Negan's reign of terror but then again, we had caught up and were watching in real time with those stupid mid-season breaks so maybe that dragged it out for us. Yes, similar for me. I was a latecomer so binge watched 1-5(ish) which helped get me hooked, then the slower progress of weekly episodes and mid-season breaks made it harder going. And if I'm honest, sometimes discussing it online doesn't help, as other people are pointing things out which you might not have noticed or been bothered by before. In fact, to be honest, if it wasn't for PH I'd probably still have been naively enjoying it right up until the end Zetec-S said:

S1 was amazing, but it was a mega budget mini series. I remember S2 being a real drag after that, that whole half-series story about Sophia being lost in the woods. Compared to some later storylines, I bet it would seem like a wild ride now!I'd probally stop at the end of series 2, there were some fantasic moments and stories after that, but S3 is when it settled into the patern of them finding somewhere safe to live until a baddie comes along thing.
