I'm glad the game is going to be up for Daisy and Jenny,

Despicable creatures, they should do 5 years each in the slammer.

However, knowing Corrie, Carla will say Naughty girls, don't do it again,.

Good detective work by Bethany, she just needs to find this journal in the Rovers .

What's going to become of Preston's petals now Tracy's gone, maybe Mary will take over?

Things seem to have gone quiet on the hunt for Lauren.
Lauren - as usual the writers have become involved in too many plotlines. At some point they rush the conclusion or just forget about it.

Didn't realise The Rovers had a kitchen. Amazing how anyone could wander in and help.prepare a private dinner party in a working pub kitchen during lunch.

That amazed me. Can't say we've seen it before. All they make is hotpot - surely you wouldn't need a fully-fitted professional kitchen for that? Plus it looked bigger than the bar.

I thought it was the Bistro at first. It did seem rather odd.

I happen to catch a story in the media that Daniel, Daisy & Bethany are going to become a Throuple. What a lucky boy Daniel is.

Can't see that happening. Yeah, I'm sure Daniel would feel as happy as a dog with two dicks, but I couldn't ever see D&B going to lesbos town.

In fairness, I googled it and a few outlets are running with it, but our media is hardly reliable.

The Rovers was barely breaking even before it was bought out. I know the event nights have increased turnover, but I can't imagine profits have increased enormously. How the heck is it sustaining an income for all the staff? Carla will never get her money back, and it's madness that Jenny and Daisy are not on bail pending inevitable imprisonment. Would anyone have been as lenient? Maybe for £5k, not £247k.

Will Bethany spoil .the whole thing by spilling the beans to the press.

Not too far from the truth.

Carla fell for Ryan's sob story.

What a load of tosh.

Also, originally there was £250,000, the pub was (IIRC) £65k, Jenny said there was £15k left, where's the rest gone?

Must be some very expensive clothes shops on King Street.

"Soap in budgeting row" headlines the Sunday Mirror as it reports on Coronation Street actors "angry" over a cut in hours to save cash. It claims "cash-strapped" bosses have caused panic slashing the number of stars in storylines. The tabloid quotes one insider saying of Corrie stars: "Some haven't filmed for weeks."

Far too many "actors" in the show, they could get rid of half of them and you wouldn't even notice. You never see the quads for weeks,

When I did the "Street" tour a few weeks back, and took this photograph.

What you can see above the viaduct is the top of the huge Imperial war museum (North) which is right next door to the set.

I've noticed you never see it, so either they blank it out with some TV wizardry, or never show above the top of the viaduct by using clever angles.

TV advertising revenues uncertain, Corrie viewing figures falling, time for a bit of pruning and fewer ludicrous storylines.
