Jimmy Carr ……
Like him on 8 out of 10 cats, but this was terrible and became quite weird towards the end.
2/10
Very interesting interview with him on the Triggernometry podcast; thoughtful, articulate, considered - significantly better than watching the Netflix show.Like him on 8 out of 10 cats, but this was terrible and became quite weird towards the end.

Any love for Dexter into the second episode, have no idea why it's a 18 rating though.
Dexter is really good but became progressively dumbed down season by season. The first season is very good and based on the book, with some changes. Season 2 also has a strong central premise.
Season 4 is becoming more implausible but has some great acting performances.
Season 5 is Dexter SVU but is decent in parts and stop at the end of that one IMO.
It's so well written and cast.
S1 E5, in the Cuban style niteklub, taking about Senoritas:
Dexter: 'What if she wants something more emotionally'?
Angel: 'Don't go down that emotional road. Just go down on her'.

So, it seems that the second half of that Synder space thing is out today.
Can I be arsed? Can anyone be arsed? If I'm not arsed, does that mean he stole two hours of my life back in December? If I avoid wasting those two hours by wasting another two now, does that make my life better?
The questions are multiple...

It's weird, they put the effort into it but it's just so lifeless and boring and forgettable. Can I be arsed? Can anyone be arsed? Doubt you'll regret not watching part two, if you're like me you probably barely remember the first one.
(*I've started the second one & will go back to it when I next need an insomnia cure.)

It's not that there's anything wrong with the obvious amount of effort that went in, it looks good, the effects are solid, there's some good concepts, some of the shots are suitably Snyder epic looking.
It's more that it just isn't interesting, you don't care about the characters or story at any point, and it's totally forgettable.
How it's possible to get something that so looks the part and has nothing notably wrong yet totally fails as a film is really confusing to be honest.
Just opening scene of Fallout manages more epic memorable cinema than both parts of Rebel Moon put together, and that's a TV show.

Has anyone seen Baby Reindeer yet?
Based on a true story and British.
I’m only 1 episode in so far but intrigued to find out what’s making it an 18 rating
We are 3 in and it’s bloody creepy.Based on a true story and British.

The next one has a warning about sexual violence so that will be why

Episode 4 really is a tough watch but its seems pivotal to the story . Be warned .
Jessica Gunning is fabulously creepy & scary as Martha .
Highly recommended if one is not easily offended.
One of those you have to watch then wonder if you should have!

The part when he breaks down on stage was so difficult to watch but absolutely mesmeric & totally captivating .
What to watch next ?

Still Game.
I think I’m on my 4th run through and it is still hilarious. I seem to pick up on a new line every time. This weeks was when discussing the River Kelvin Eric says “Pete the jaikey says he seen a crocodile in it one time. Course that was when he was injecting absinthe in to his tongue.”
As Jack and Victor would say “Get it watched ya bds”

It's like it's been written by an AI, with crowded funded amateur special effects and then a max beige filter applied. It's more that it just isn't interesting, you don't care about the characters or story at any point, and it's totally forgettable.

His other films aren't amazing but had some nice action sequences and detail.

Could be, everything is just so generic and averaged down. And then if you poke at it the inconsistencies and broken logic show up.So yes, very 'AI'.
Plus it's a lot like someone took something that seemed really good a a trailer then padded it out. So like a lot of Snyder films, but this one was padded with pure beige.
Just finished Baby Reindeer. Never expected it to be so relentlessly dark when first putting it on but really was great.
Was also shocked to discover after watching it that the actor playing Donny was in fact Richard Gadd the creator. Must have been tough reliving all of that. I
Oh and if anyone is interested, it appears people on Twitter think they have found the real identity of Martha and it seems legit
