And that one last episode explains all the volt time lines and whats gone on wink
And true enough, it did. Excellent series, so well produced, it really felt like the makers loved the whole series and Bethesda really had a hand in making sure it was accurate where it needed to be. Glad it has a Season 2.

No Ad's as I usually watch via web browser at my PC and it has ad blocker but I watched an episode at lunch time and the ads, while there were only two, significantly broke the immersion for me. I think I'll continue to watch only on PC.

Watched 7 and 8 tonight, loved it. One minor quibble, and nothing to do with the story. CGI de-aged Kyle Maclachlan wasn't great, it took me out of it while he was on screen, I soon got back into it though.

Just finished the series.

I lost interest after about episode 4. Continued to the end though, other than the last 20 mins of the last episode as I really had lost interest by that point and had something else to do.

Not a gamer but the plot sounded interesting when I saw it advertised.
I think (just my opinion) that the bulk release causes these issues. Don’t get me wrong, I loved it, but binged it, and was getting a bit ‘overload’ by ep4. My fault, but I think I would’ve enjoyed it more if it was released in (say) 2 episode ‘drops’.
More than that, a weekly schedule keeps the 'buzz' going for the show. When you get the entire season dropped in one hit, it generates a lot of discussion all over social media for a week or two and then it fades off a lot. When the episodes are coming in week by week, it keeps the hype going over a period of a couple of months and the show can build momentum. I doubt GoT would have become the phenomenon it was if all episodes in a Season were released in one hit - the whole week by week nature was what made it such a massive media hit.

They could always release the first 2 or 3 episodes together to get people hooked and then switch to a weekly format for the rest. One of the big problems with new shows is that they need to be able to get established quickly and usually the very first episode is one of the weakest as it has to world build and introduce characters. Even in this case, you could see them trying to cram stuff into Ep1 despite the fact that the entire 8x episodes were available together, maybe the release schedule wasn't decided until late on.

Anyone who really can't stand to wait week by week to see a story unfold can simply hold off for a few months and binge once the season is completed, anyway. It's not like they won't have untold hours of other shows that they can catch up on in the meantime.

I far prefer a viewing model where all episodes are available at once. I like to watch on my schedule. Waiting week to week seems really old fashioned.

Watched the first two episodes, quite enjoying it and I like the look of the programme if that makes sense. It's certainly a bit different but I;ll stick with it for a few more episodes I think. So many box sets to watch that I've fallen behind on.

I also just watched the first ep last night after finishing a few things. No experience of the games but I have passing knowledge of them and the concept. My initial impression is it's very good, the world building right from the start is brilliant. A bit more serious in tone than I expected but I guess that's the point, the 50's aesthetic against the post-apocalyptic world leads the casual observer to think this will be all sunshine and rainbows but quite quickly we release it's not.

The 70 mins flew by and I'm looking forward to watching a few more.

Loved it. It was one of those series that I forced myself to only watch one episode a night because I was enjoying it so much that I didn't want to get to the end.

I too am looking at the free Fallout 76 game on Prime Gaming....
