She hasn't faired very well from when she played Beth Cordingly in The Bill.

She's 48 ... she was 27 when she filmed the Bill ...

I'd not want anyone playing spot the difference with pictures of me at those two ages biggrin

Ah, that's too easy and obvious - got to be able to drag it out for at least a few more weeks / months now that the wife has been written in and build up to the usual reveal and a Dingle family fallout - especially when Moira & Nicky already know what's been going on.

In the online blurb (as part of Caleb's wife being written in as a character) it also says that both Kerry & Vanessa will be written back in at some point this year as both of their 2 year maternity hiatus come to an end. So if that's the case i guess we all know that Kerry will be out for revenge against Mack and Vanessa can easily have multiple potential storylines (given how she left) to stir things between Rhona & Paddy (as she still owns part of the vets), Charity & Mack (obvious reasons), Suzy (because they also kissed before she left for Canada), etc.

Then you've got the introduction of the new person taking on the receptionists job now that the doctors surgery has been relocated into the village - easy fodder for an affair / relationship / some form of dodgyness there. Plus also shows how easy you can get a job in Emmerdale just by sitting at a neighbouring table in The Hide and overhearing a conversation laugh

Now they've established Angelica was driving the car, will Cathy go back to being wild and reckless due to her hormonal illness? This is probably what fuelled her to nick the car in the first place! This storyline could play out much in the way Marlon's stroke has, as was touched on briefly when he couldn't remove the lid from the baby formula container...

She might as well as the charges have been dropped against her, so nothing for TWOC/ no licence/no insurance etc

Yet another load of crap from the writers as that wouldn't have happened in real life. They'd drop the charges for the death by driving but would likely still apply a charge for the others as you said.

Another one for the "writers forget the past scripts" - i went back and checked and when Caleb and his son were first introduced as part of their plan to con Gabby / Kim, both of them talk about Caleb's "ex-wife" but turns out she isn't yet and they're still married, and his son regularly referenced how "ill" his mom was - yet currently she seems to be perfectly fine, no illness, etc, referenced.

Is Ruby going to go Full-Psycho, or is she just a wine-loving loud extrovert?!

Hope it's the former and she murders Tracy and puts us all out of our misery...

Remember it's Valentine's Day next week so that's pretty much guaranteed to be the big reveal day for most soap secrets so i doubt we'll have to wait much longer for the inevitable.

Maybe but Emmerdale tends to do all the big reveals on a Thursday when they've got an hour episode to milk it.

They could get rid of Angelica/Angel at the same time, another Woodentop actor (although I assume she’ll be departing soon to the ‘big house’.

Well i wasn't surprised, and that quote above was before the press blurb came out hehe Given there's no sign of her character being written out she'll probably be on the run for a day or two before getting arrested early next week either by coming back to the village or caught in Hotten.

Or knowing Emmerdale disappear before sentencing via dodgy measures (passport / identity / Angel in the back of one of Jimmy's trucks on a haulage run, etc) to Portugal to hide out with Bernice (because she owes Nicola for the B&B stuff) & Diane - because as we all know from previous storylines, foreign Police can seemingly never track anyone from Emmerdale down once they've fled the country hehe

After Thursday though it appears they've finally confirmed Tom's character as being just like his dad given the comments to Belle, but no doubt they'll end up married anyway. I was just wondering whether there's been a reason for Tom being so desperate to get married so quickly like they've been pushing - potentially some form of financial inheritance trust from his dad tied to him being married by xx age or if not it ends up with the other side of his family that he clearly never liked - plus there's still the outstanding plot from last year with the younger kid (poss relative) that he clearly knew nicking his car.

Tom is only going get worse for Belle as I predicted earlier, with his controlling nature. Thought she'd realise this when he hit her a few weeks back..!

I also thought a drunken Tom was going to make a pass at Suni in the pub last night at the StHen do..!

I was expecting that curve ball as well

Wasn't expecting Vanessa to re-appear!

It says next week that Tom goes AWOL after Belle refuses to take his surname and wants to remain "Dingle" in honour of her parents.

That is starting to sound a bit like a dodgy marriage (not that far removed from the storyline a few years back when they first introduced Joe as Debbie's love interest).

My memory is foggy but I'm sure Vanessa left for Canada before Mary appeared in the village, so how the hell did Vanessa get Mary's phone number to be able to call her?
