My guess is that Amit is still Alive but Jay has relocated him somewhere in order to get some continued payback.
Remember Jay has form for stuff like that if you go back in Emmerdale history. About 10 years ago he & Megan Macey teamed up when he found out Charity was scamming him, so he kidnapped her and locked her in a storage container for 2 - 3 weeks. Then a year or so later he did the same to Rachel (Archie's birth mother) after he thought she was going to go on the run with Archie.

How long do we think Jai will keep Amit locked up?

Just thinking back to when Charity shot Chloe's dad dead, started having panic attacks, flashbacks and nightmares concluding with her stabbing Mackenzie as he awoke her from sleeping.. He, the kids all had to move away because she was a danger to them! She has one pretty lousy councilling session acheiving what looked like nothing. But, now, her breakdown's all gone, she's back on top of her game and to the Charity most of us love...!

Based on the front cover of one of the soap mags i saw when doing the shopping today, it looks like they're ramping up the Tom / Belle situation as it appears Tom is going to try and kill Vinny next week.
Let's hope he succeeds Bonus points if he could do Matty as well.

She definitely should have been sent to prison….or at least a suspended sentence, she had no parental rights but took the baby away with no lawful authority….. ended up with her getting everything her own way of course….. meanwhile looks like the bloke is off to prison , for a property crime ? I don't think anything has made much sense over the last couple of weeks so it's just one more thing to come out of nowhere. Was I the only one who didn't see that coming....?!
