I have to agree Natalie J Robb aka Moira, is rather lovely, here's one from her modelling days

Since the start of this year it's been amazing how small the world must be what with all these coincidences of characters bumping into people that they've either not seen in years / decades, or have been having relationships with miles away yet turn up in the same village hehe

I guess Debbie, Priya & Al can be given a pass as that's entirely possible, but the ones related to the new vicar & his son are definitely stretching it laugh

I mean who would ever have thought that the son of the new vicar would end up bumping into his best friends ex boyfriend, shortly after being accused of dealing drugs, only to discover that said friends ex boyfriend is actually Luke that's now straight and currently dating Victoria hehe

Then tonight we have the revelation that the vicar was in a relationship for 2+ years, and was stood up on their wedding day, by Manpreet laugh

You're dead right! We watch it occasionally for the sheer comedy value - awful scripts, completely implausible storylines and, in the main, lousy actors (esp Paddy, Marlon and Kim) laugh

I like my fix of Emmerdale each week, but I so agree, these coincidences are laughable. The whole Luke, Ethan and now Charles, Manpreet is fanciful even in Soap-land..! The Police are pretty inept up there too.. Not one has come to Emmerdale, looking for the dodgy cop Malone who was shot months ago...! Love it as is a great escape from the Real World smile

Speaking of upcoming plotlines it appears we're going to have yet another pregnancy one involving Gabby this time.

We're meant to believe that a character that was at the centre of a plot a few years back about an underage sex tape / losing her virginity that ruined her life, who recently chased after Leyla & accused Liam of doing stuff to her before admitting it was a lie, and most recently saw the effects of an abortion on Laurel, has evidently plotted to get pregnant by Jamie in their 1 night stand in an attempt to get him to love her, sack dawn off, and get a seat as Kim Tate's apprentice and access to her money?

Yep, totally believable. Christ, lockdown and Covid is really having an effect on these writers laugh

"Dallas with dung". It was filmed on my doorstep (wit' milk an' eggs) and was a staple of my early childhood, enabling me to master the art of pulling both a pint and pouring a double whisky... at the age of 7. Pure class to the end.

I've always thought she is attractive, but bloody hell!!

Ages ago I was sure it was her in a crappy American / Mexico border, drug baron, type film, and was impressed at 'her' accent. Needless to say, it wasn't!

The Paul/Mandy/Viny storyline is perhaps the most ridiculous storyline in a long list of ridiculous storylines in this show.

However the show is worth watching for the odd time , Priya nearly doesn’t wear anything!

The Ethan, Luke, Charles and Manpreet storyline is equally ridiculous too - And how forgiving is Charles towards Manpreet, despite she already being married and jilting him at the alter years ago...! And Priya for me is addictive too..! Good lockdown TV smile

Mandy's invitation was cringe, I'd been like nah love I'm alright here where I am thanks.

She didn't generate a great mental image of what they'd just done either after.

I know the scriptwriters for these normally work on week long cycles, but i think Covid has had the effect that they're forgetting what their colleagues wrote only a few weeks back hehe

Not long ago Meena was working to get Manpreet back together with Rishi, but this week she's been encouraging her to leave Rishi and hook back up with the vicar to the point that Manpreet has now confessed she's still in love with the vicar and always has been since leaving him at the altar all those years ago laugh
