To be fair to him.
His heart must have sank when he saw the overgrown garden in front of the doors.
Not a 2 minute job sorting that. As someone else said, it’s a win for the householder to get free clearance.
Anyway, overall it’s a good channel with a likeable presenter imo.
Yes but as I said in an earlier post, surely it would have made more sense to get the guy he met on site to clear that before he arrived, that way he would have had more time with the cars, just seemed rushed with little time for the cars.
Why stop there? He could have got someone to get the cars out beforehand and service them so he could be sure of getting them started..

He explained in this video and in that recent podcast why he doesn't do any of that in advance, and just shows up on the day to do whatever is necessary himself. It's the whole point of the video to dig the cars out from where they've been left. Without that it would just be a video of a bloke starting a car.

We are allowed to post constructive feedback, I will stand by what I said it felt rushed.

Spending all that time digging them out added nothing to the video, I respect he does not visit before but in this case it would have been worth it so he had more time with cars and getting them running.

I have given up on more than one youtube channel because their restorations were running into years. Somehow Harry kept it interesting.
Project Binky anyone? laugh

I never really thought that some bloke finding old cars in varying states of disrepair and trying to get them to work again would be so captivating but it is. I
I find the opposite. You see one, you've seen them all. The owners are all the same tragic hoarders who cant bear to throw anything away. Some clearly have "issues" JS is a easy going presenter. But in a way his turning up and featuring the owners and the cars reinforces their ridiculous behaviour

I've just seen his very positive review of the Kia EV9.

He really likes it.

EV9 looks very good indeed. But I hope the majority of the crap that was binging and bonging every few seconds can be switched off permanently. That would do my head in.

We own a 2023 Soul. Some of the beings and bongs cannot be turned off.

Another EV review plus it is ugly as sin, no thanks.

Why do Teslas not need to abide by the same interpretation of the rules?

A great video to watch, but the size and price of that thing! Ugly as sin, too.

I guess if you’re looking for something that big it has to be a contender, not my cup of tea though.

It is quite a lot of car for the money, if you can get past the fact it is a Kia.

There is a 10k cheaper single motor version but that might be one of the few EVs that actually feels underpowered, with only 200bhp.

As far as price goes I think it’s about right. You can’t really view Kia as a budget brand imo so you’re looking at stuff that starts at £70k ish for comparison.

I wonder what the residuals are like on a 75k EV Kia?

Not seen the video yet, but I think I’m not mentally at the 75k Kia just yet in terms of initial purchase.

Got bored after about 8 minutes... My impressions, nice design but 30% too expensive and 30% too heavy....

Battery weight @ circa 500kgs was mentioned, it got me thinking - Where does the other 2.1 tonnes come from? I must be missing something but there can't have been much thought gone into weight saving surely?

I lasted a few minutes longer and then thought why am I watching this. No interest in SUVs let alone huge overpriced electric ones

I haven't watched this one as it holds no interest to me, but I recall a recent Smith & Sniff podcast where Jonny said he had to stop filming at one point because he was being followed by an old Skoda Estelle and he found it distracting because it was far more interesting than what he was trying to review.
