Just for info, the laptop in Richards time was never switched on, it was just a prop he said so himself in an interview,
That was my understanding too.

Pointless - Steven Mangan now doing the RO role. Much easier and confident flow of banter and not glued to the screen.

2 other names I've heard to be doing the Richard role are Konnie Huq and Lauren Laverne .

Even after only his first show, I prefer him.

I agree but difficult to believe that Steven Mangen (I may have spelt that incorrectly) would want to commit a long run of Pointless.

If you can receive S4C watch a quiz called Oci Oci Oci, it’s like bullseye but with lower production values, worse hosts and thicker contestants!

Well I never thought Mastermind would appear in this thread but did anyone see the Gogglebox Tapper girl on the celebrity version?

As Twitter put it, the sttest quiz contestant in the world. 2 points.

Very poor, especially as the questions on Celeb Mastermind are very easy.

One has to admire the chutzpah of these minor celebs to shamelessly appear on a show they have no aptitude for purely for the exposure (or the fee).

In fairness, some female police officers can be.

There is a theory re Tapper, that this is part of raising the profile prior to appearing on 'I'm a Celebrity' as one of the late entries to the jungle.

Following in the footsteps of Joey Essex and the like, with the likeable "thick as a whale omelette" persona?

The Tapper family haven't been on Gogglebox for years , so a profile raise is required to bring them back to slebland .
I don't care enough to look up why they left Goggle .

Fairly weak team on the Chase today ,2 in the final with a massive £2000 to play for , amazingly got 17 in the final
and then won .

Bridge of Lies (BBC): Ross Kemp.

Ross is an OK presenter, but don’t think that this was his forte.
The Quiz / game was pretty average... but felt very slow & flat.
I Struggled to watch one episode.

Not seen any post Osman Pointless, but he was always really good on it.

I do sometimes wonder who the hell the 100 people they ask are. Saw one some time back with sports in French, I think it was only about 85 people had worked out what Tennis De Table was!
That's nothing. One episode I saw of Pointless had 'Pictures of planets from space'. One of the pictures was of Earth.

Here we go I thought, I'm going to see the first ever Pointless question where 100 people get the answer right.

Nope

92

They managed to find 8 mouth-breathers, who didn't know what the planet Earth looked like from space FFS!!
