Me neither sadly, I get:

Yeah sorry, Dropbox have suspended the links because they are generating too much bandwidth usage and they want me to upgrade the account. I’m not doing that though because it means paying for it. I’ll see where else I can stick it. Error (404)

It’s such a shame that the Ross/Brand incident caused the BBC to over-react so much and effectively ban anything that is not squeaky clean. It’s just gone too far the other way. Radio 2 won’t play Blancmange living on the ceiling with the word ‘bloody tree’ in it. Christina Aguilera’s phrase “panties drop” has also been silenced. Yet during the afternoon shows I remember Mark and Lard playing a song they didn’t like and out the back of it Mark just said “st that weren’t it” and they moved on! And another time they had a caller on, they asked him what he’d been up to. He told them that he’d got up and been to the bathroom to do the 3 S’s. Mark came back with “Thank goodness you said the 3 S’s then cos st and shower's no problem but if you'd said shave on the air we’d be in all sorts of trouble”!!! I think they just kept getting lucky that complaints just didn’t manifest somehow. I think folk just found it funny so didn’t complain. And the type of people who would complain weren’t M&L listeners.

I remember a few incidences like that, I always got the impression they didn’t like how main stream they had become (forced into?) and simply did it to see if they could get sacked.Edited by colinbloom on Tuesday 19th October 22:06

Thank you, elyuw
Still great, and a reminder that entertainment wasn't always so Puritan.
Here is a seven and a half hour montage of Classic Cuts, including the introductions..
