Wyn’s lamb dishes looked incredible.
He must be the favourite by some way. They have all done well though.
Max just not quite adventurous enough in that last round.
Good show this year although I recognise fewer and fewer each series.

A worthy winner, and I do feel slightly bad for dismissing him for many years as “that irritating bloke off the Go Compare adverts”!

He seems a really nice bloke and is clearly a superb chef. Well done Wynne!

Hear hear. In fact I really got to like a lot of the later-round contestants this year, especially the last four or five were very supportive of each other. Bravo!

Sorry for the resurrection, only just caught up…

I too thought it was very good this year with a lot of likeable people.
We have decided to get over the “who is that, don’t recognise any of them, are they really celebrities?” discussions and just enjoy it for what it is, a very good cooking competition.

Any idea when Masterchef is next on, regardless of the iteration (regular, celeb or professional)?

I think if I were going on Masterchef I would have a vague notion of what a gnocchi was and how to make one.

They gave them instructions on how to make gnocchi and half of them ignored it.

Honestly don't know why some of these people enter. Do they really think they'll get to the latter stages?

Raw lamb makes an early appearance - despite the assertion that it’s the way it’s meant to be.
