Hustle has just started up on Drama, the first episode was on last night smile I know it's quite old now, but I still like it.
Spooks also started its re run from the start on the same channel as well
I used to enjoy Hustle, but not the bits where they stopped the action and did a song and dance routine. I'm glad they stopped doing that.

I wonder how far through Spooks will get this time, they always seem to stop after about three series.

I know what you mean about Spooks but its quite elderly now so I'm hoping its from beginning to end.

They did the same with the Brittas Empire, showed it from the beginning till the end of series 5, then did put series 6&7 on rolleyes they were probably crap, but even so!

Amanda and Alan in Tuscany was fairly predictable , old house ,very run down , lots of dust in the ceiling they tore down .
The stink of burning in the FIAT 500 was probably the clutch after Alan's poor hill start .

I had to look up where the house is ,couldn't work out the correct spelling from the audio ,it's Fornovalasco ,in the middle of nowhere in the mountains .

I'll keep watching ,just because it's Italy cloud9and not far away from the area I'm familiar with nearer Lucca .
I'd have much less interest if they were in any other country TBH .

Was a bit cross that they were banging on about recycling and using local materials and labour, went to a reclamation yard, where they bought ... some brand new tiles made in Morocco!! Could have got new foreign tiles in any DIY shop mad

I've just noticed that Sky Mix are showing "Cobra" onThursday evenings. It's a series I remember seeing advertised but I don't have proper Sky. Just caught up on the first episode last night and it might be good, or might be too bleak.

^ Oh, that's a pity. The idea looks good, but I've only seen the first one and am already annoyed that they feel the need to shove extra stuff in apart from the main storyline, and my inner geek is irritated that the air traffic controller seemed to have a window on her screen containing software source code, which seemed unusual to me. I'll give it a few episodes and see how it goes.

It did remind me of a similar London apocalypse thing that was on a few years ago and also featured Robert Carlyle, which IMDB tells me was called "Flood". Can't remember whether I enjoyed that or not.

Its not very good. Just looked it up on IMDb and it only gets a 4.8 out of 10

Anyone else looking forward to Gladiators tomorrow? I used to enjoy it back in the day on ITV but am half ready to be disappointed this time. It looks like some of the Gladiators might be quite extreme to watch. The issue is whether they are competent in their roles though Aikines Aryeetey was a genuinely good sprinter until recently. Perhaps still is.

I've been enjoying the first series of Baywatch, which is on one of the Freeview channels every evening. It's the first time I've watched it since it was on originally, and I've now discovered that it actually has a plot.

George Clarkes, American Adventure. Sunday 9.00pm on Channel 4.

Four part series, in which he travels around America, looking into architecture, history and culture; plus meeting some interesting characters along the way.

As always George is brimming with enthusiasm, which is quite infectious; a nice watch.

Finished ‘Mare of Easttown’ tonight. Kate Winslett in a crime drama mixed in with family secrets - a bit like an American Happy Valley, and a very good watch.

I've finished "Slow Horses", and started "Chernobyl". Might be a bit too depressing, though, but I recall reading that it was good.

Yes I know, but for Mrs. DG, English is a second language and this is an opportunity to see things she may like. We’ve found some good things which we might have otherwise missed.

Occasionally it will sometimes provide comedy gold, a week last Friday being one of them, ‘Good Mooring Britain’ we would never see this, had a section on valentines gifts that might spice up your love … Mary to Giles “What’s the number for Ofcom”
