‘Our Guy in Columbia’ I like some of Guy’s previous output, the narrator Shuan Dooley, can be a bit more, than a tad irritating. Five minutes was enough. Talk about stereotypes.

I'm also enjoying Lost car rescue , a bunch of Canadians who scour the countryside for abandoned cars to buy and sell on , including a woman in a light plane .

<snip>
That sounds similar to Outback Car Hunters - although a lot of the cars these guys bought were given a clean and they got them running and sold them on complete with rusty bits. Still made a profit though!

Tonight from 9-11 , I watched 2 resto mod US shows ,Beaching rides ,spell change to avoid the swear box and RMD garage .
The first is a rename of Kindig customs ,why ? don't know.
Made a C1 Corvette with major body mods from scratch to sell about 10 examples from moulds they took from the "prototype" .Amazing work .
Got bored in the second show ,just another resto mod on a 58 Impala.
I said in another thread ,there is just too many car progs on tv now and D-Max are plugging yet another new one with some bloke modding supercars for the stars ,same thing ,different state .

I'm just quite broken by everything .frown
Kindig is ace, that and Foose's 'Overhaulin''. Sometimes on Kindig's Customs he will describe something as 'bhin' but it will get bleeped. I think it may be something to do with a telly company owning the word 'bhin'!
ETA not too keen on his spoon shaped door handles though!

I was speaking to a professional modder who said that Kindig's exhaust valves were the only ones he uses as most are Chinese crap.
Kindig's ones are quality but apparently $500 a pop though!! yikes

Tonight's viewing high light was Inside the heist on Quest channel ,I highly recommend it and tonight's was the best yet .
Documentaries on some of the biggest heists in recent history worldwide .
They have already covered the Hatton Garden job and the attempt on the £300M diamond in the Millennium dome but tonight was a safe deposit raid in Argentina .

The precision and execution was impeccable and without spoilers ,they would have got away with it if they hadn't been grassed up by .......?

You'll have to watch it on I player ,almost comical ending .biglaughbiggrinbiglaugh

The only thing worth watching chez casa di Finale was Italy...made with love on Freeview channel 8 London Live .

A spotlight on a bunch of different family artisan crafts people making olive oil ,handbags ,jewellery ,picture frames , perfumes , hats , in Tuscany ,mostly Firenze .

Most of them showed the generations with the traditional skills being handed down to the next .

Last week had Simon Cowell... as a mechanic with a passion for Capris.
AI... but cleverly done.

Secret Spitfires on 5Select - all about when the spitfire production was moved to Salisbury with great interviews with the women ferry pilots. Fascinating.

I watched a 2nd episode of Italy made with love yesterday on Channel 8 London Live , this time from Umbria

The crafts people featured were just wonderful , again carrying on traditional ways of making stuff handed down , the teenager featured milling flour powered by water was 8th generation .

The shots of Orvieto was worth the watch on it's own . City built on a cloud .

It's not on next week .frown

The Power of Parker, sitcom set in the North West 80’s/90’s. Fair amount of cringe, but funny at times, got the period nailed.

On ITV.

I've been watching that, BBC1 on Friday night, enjoying it a bit more than I was expecting to.
