Good isn't it.
Northern Soul just predates me as I was about 10 when it was at it's zenith but I was aware of it.
Happy music, love the dancing.
Just waiting for the all very white comments.

I watched Blue Lights on iplayer last week. 6 part Police drama set in Belfast following a group of new recruits. Thought it was superb.

I enjoyed it too, the place has changed massively from when I was there in the late 80s.

I noticed there's a second series of "Ghosts US" showing at the moment, it's not bad.

I see Brassic 5 is back in the autumn. Can't wait, one of the funniest programs on TV.

Same here, just rewatched the previous to remind myself - the Gideon episodes and Cardi & Carol crack me up

Glad it's managed to still be funny after so many series.

Wanted: The Escape of Carlos Ghosn

A 4 part documentary, in which Carlos Ghosn, tries to paint himself as a victim.

An unbelievable level of ego, greed, and a lack of remorse, just staggering. Well worth watching!

No Activity – Australian comedy cop show on BBC Iplayer.

Basically, two inept cops sat on stakeout whilst trying to chat/wind up the call handlers whilst having pointless conversations. Plus, the totally useless bad guys and “misfit dads army type” security guard.

10/10

Second season of C4's 'Screw' was good. Yes there are suspend your disbelief moments but it's not a documentary.

Well ,this thread died a death .
I scrolled past many tv threads with virtually no posts to refind it .

Help ,we bought a village [CH4] is great ,Brits go to France ,Spain Italy Portugal and buy a whole abandoned village not just 1 house in the sun .

The work and investment required is off the scale and good luck to all of them .smile

The O/H and I have been watching this too. Although most of the properties are really cheap, they're in a poor state and I notice some also 'suffer' from traditional building methods.

One that springs to mind was a house with 'mud' floors? I think it was a Scottish chap that bought it (and a couple of others) but it looked as though reality was setting in when he saw the scale of the task ahead of him.

I wondered if he was regretting buying three houses...

I watch it also. The young guy who bought that French chateau seems very optimistic - or naive. That's a 20-year job at the pace he's progressing.
