Wrong. Roadhouse was an OK film but of all the films you could remake why this one?

I don't think anyone is going to have the charisma of Swayze either...

True. But judging by the way Amazon have gone with Reacher they must think guys hitting guys will prove popular.

Sad in Roadhouse that his mate got killed, maybe they'll do that differently.

Remaking roadhouse, Christ, bad decision. Very bad. Who is going to play Wade Garrett?

Wonder if he will still rip the guys throat out

Thing with the original is its st, but its solid gold st. I. Sure most of the actors knew it was a crock and just ham it up, Ben Gazzara especially.

It's an entertaining film but was never going to trouble anyone at awards time

Roadhouse is really all over the place in tone. Doesn't know whether to be a knockabout caper or something more profound.

I saw Anne Hathaway.

Don't remember anything else about the video - sorry.

very much of its time. I really enjoyed it, great cheesy fun which was much more enjoyable than it had any right to be - I suspect that without Swayze the film would've sunk without a trace. It's got a light touch from PS (and whoever directed it) who doesn't go all 'Sly Stallone'/macho hence its enduring appeal (IMO)

bks to that; Sam Elliot acts the lot of them off the screen. His facial hair should have had its own screen credit.

Yes! Wade Garett is the main character. I said above, who plays him? JG as Dalton who gives a st.

The problem is that JG does not have the personality of Swayze, the intelligence of Swayze, female appeal of Swayze, the looks of Swayze or the moves of Swayze.

Saw most of a film with her and Jake in it the other day. Not a great film but I was amazed at how often she took her kit off.

Julie Michaels (who later became a very well regarded Stunt Co-ordinator & had a decent scrap with Keanu Reaves in Point Break.)
