I bet someone turned up in a boardroom and proudly announced that the new system had uncovered widespread hitherto undetected fraud.
probably didn't quite happen like that, but they absolutely knew the system wasn't calculating correctly.
I’d put money on exactly that happening.
We used to run post offices when Horizon was first implemented.
It was, and remained utter crap but the way POCL tallied about it you’d think it was the 2nd coming of Christ

The PO would not let any postmaster have any error logs etc so they could not prove any issues with Horizon
The PO also had prehistoric rights of prosecution

I know it’s wrong to say it but I’m enjoying it and looking forward to the next episode.

Watched with my Dad and both wondered the same thing. I wonder how many took their lives because of this clusterf*ck?

'Enjoyable' if that is the right word.....

But as it's already been said, it leaves you feeling so angry......More imcompetence from management, who believed IT systems were infallible.

Four.

I want to be able to watch this in one go, so hoping for s as chance to stream once all episodes are available.

I’m a lawyer in a retail business and would like to think I could remain sufficiently objective if presented with a situation like this.

Interesting that the current ITV boss is heavily implicated in the story, but doesn't feature at all in the dramatisation that's on.....er.....ITV.

Compelling viewing, from both acting and the storyline itself.

Four too many.
700 odd offices involved - lives utterly destroyed and the people responsible still sitting back counting their cash.

Great factual based drama with a brilliant cast.

The arrogance of the investigators/prosecution is chilling... Perfect at denial and the blaming of all the Sub-Postmasters....
