So what can be done. It's hard to get your head round.

Nothing.

Its not hard to get your head round though.

There will just be warm wolly words about lessons learnt, blah, blah, blah.

Those that perpetrated it will ride off into the sunset with their pockets full of money. Some gongs will be dished out. Life carries on.

Thanks very much indeed for this, I'm putting some of those dates in my calendar, particularly Paula Vennels.

Well I at the start of January filled in my tax return online as i have done for a good few years now.
Completed it, checked it and pressed send.

Few days ago i get a letter asking for immediate payment of £100.
Letter received on the 26th of March and payment wanted by 24th of March!

Anyway logged into my account and it was just sat there, as i left it, so simply saved it again and I'm hoping this time it registers, i did logged in again and it does say it has now registered and i took a screen shot of that....

So this is a glitch which ok it cost me just £100, but i cant be the only one.....

No point calling them as you cant anyway, so i scratch it off...... stuff like this is replicated all over, as I've said before regards an energy company i worked for...

It will be interesting to see if any of the revelations of the past few weeks and months since the inquiry paused will be part of the evidence put against them in the questioning as much has been revealed.

I would imagine many on that list will be informed about their right not to self incriminate before the sessions start.

I think at least two of those scheduled above may go for a no comment statement to avoid self incrimination.

Might be interesting to see if any open up or it’s selective memory on steroids.

It's beyond comprehension as to why the Police are not feeling peoples collars, where is the Home secretary on this? It appears there is no justice in the this country, quite shameful.

She's not even warmed up, never mind sung. There's a plethora of evidence that has been/is being turned up which makes their testimony very difficult at best. Police probably content to watch evidence being given under oath at this stage.

But should they at not least be placed under arrest? We are talking of people who are very wealthy and have passports.

Unless of course they still presume themselves to be untouchable, befitting of the 'nothing will happen' comments.

As you observe "very wealthy", and no doubt insulated from repercussions.

I remain of the view, nothing will happen, except maybe a sacrifical middle manager. None of the "controlling minds" will get any kind of punishment.

The inquiry isn’t a trial… sanctions against the PO, Fujitsu or individuals - if they ever happen - will be years away.

Yet in another part of this forum we have a thread where it is stated many times that if you don't attend a voluntary interview based on nothing more than an allegation from just one individual then you will be arrested and questioned PDQ?
