But who held the pen dammit, who held the pen?

She must know she's being walked off a cliff. Pretty much everything she is saying is unravelling her evidence to the Select Committee and the High Court.

Simply, nothing she is saying is credible, and a significant amount of it is directly disprovable. You've been summoned to appear before MPs but you are just asked to rock up and present a couple of things? Yeah right Bob - I've done stuff like that and the CEO has everyone in a room and you're briefed like you've never been briefed before - especially when you know the stakes, oh and you know your system's leakier than an incontinent buffalo.

Not that I’m aware of, so far as I can recall (probably).
At this moment.
Maybe.
I didn't write that - there's a bug.

Oh fk, that's torn it hehe
Not a bug, possibly an exception or anomaly, remember?

I'm not familiar with those terms - I'm not technical I'm afraid. I would have relied on IT to give me a view and I don't remember their reply.

Your boss asked her husband - surely you remember that? Tuesday's witness remembered that.

In fairness, I have little recollection of what was said in a meeting last week, let alone 10 years ago!

But this was a big issue by then. You tend to remember that stuff. I can vividly remember the meetings we had when a crane fell over, when a site visitor was killed, when we were sued by Greenpeace, when we were subject of a hostile takeover, when we discovered a proposed landfill site next to land we has just bought to put £1m houses on.

She's so stupid - she seems to delight in saying she can remember anything that supports her,................ but forgets anything that does not.

She reminds me a bit of Bonnie Tyler - although not as smart.

And she certainly doesn't come across as the ice-maiden she was portrayed as in "Mr Bates V' the Post Office".

I suspect these senior people come into the inquiry with the aim to play a character that they think will help them. (note - the investigators were too stupid to realise that coming across as a bullying asshole won't help)

There is no doubt that the senior people would not be thick, you simply don't make it to that level if you are.

That's Series 2 of Howard's Way.
