Ah right, yeah the one where they hit the button. I don’t actually mind that one, especially when you have a decent rugby player type.
The problem is they can only hold the contestant for 2 seconds and then have to release. So just wait 2 seconds and then the contestant hits the button.
They should just change the rules so if you're tackled to the ground you have to go back outside the ring and try again.

I know it's the BBC, but did they spend all the budget so that Bradley and Barney have to wear the same thing every show?!?

I'm guessing some of the heats are on the same day, but the quarter / semi-finals must be filmed on a different day.

The usual suspects were pretty hopeless as usual. Viper was predictable as ever in being 'naughty'. It feels that we see a lot of some gladiators and others may feature in one event per show.

The stats are hilarious "gladiator X can lift a gorilla / gladiator Y can lift a wildebeest / Gladiator Z can lift 6 bags of cement" rofl

There’s got to be some kids merch coming for this show soon, right? Birthdays coming up in the next few months and they’d love some Gladiators stuff! biggrin
We’ve been saying the same, there hasn’t even been a kids magazine. I don’t think they’ve been prepared for it being such a hit.

We got the kids some foam hands for the first episode but they’re just generic ones off eBay.
I agree. We are loving this series as a family, it’s brilliant.

Any merch they release I’ll try to buy, id like the organisers to make tons of cash on this so they keep making it. But there’s nothing out there, not even a sticker book!

This and Ninja Warrior are in my top favourite tv shows. Health and fitness made into an exciting competiton to beat others who are also at the top of their game. It’s brilliant and inspiring for all the family - and these shows make it fabulous tv too!

Anybody else laugh at Giant?
Go easy on me…OK? OK, I won’t hit you for the first 10secs.
Bam. One shot. Down.

Legend is actually quite good when he puts the effort in!
Sabre had a valid point about ' facing the gladiators'
They need some different games for the quarters/semis etc.

I must admit, I do like the new gladiators, some absolute crackers among them. Legend cracks me up, I think Nitro is awesome, and Sabre and Diamond could batter me to death with pugil sticks and I'd die a happy old man! cloud9

Question.
Do people bring and make their own signs / banners or do they have a team of 5 year olds making and then the assistants distribute at random??

Legend: “This is a terrible segment, move on”

Amazing bit of banter, love it.

It was funny.

I wonder how the male winner this time will get on with his shoulder?

A shame they don't have a quick spell check of them before appearing illiterate on TV.

Legend = best character

Nitro = best guy. He'd be a nightmare if he was your mate though. Imagine being out in town with him. youd get no attention
Nitro on the wall just so fast.
Giant on Duel to much of a unit to possibly knock off,

Saw an interview with Legend from before it was back on air, and he said the character would be him 'unfiltered'. It is an extension of his personality but I think its a bit hit or miss in character. His dead pan/sarcasm as himself is more than enough.

Would love to see Atlaspheres back. Hopefully off the back of such a positive 'first' season they'll change it up next season. Quite liked Skytrak and Swingshot too.

Who remembers Danger Zone? From a physical perspective (in terms of the Gladiators) it was one of the most pointless games.

I got to see Giant a few weeks ago, I knew he lived not far from me anyway but saw him in a cafe getting some food - can confirm he is an absolute fkin unit, I wouldn't wanna face him on anything in Gladiators

Seemed a nice guy, was letting people get pics with him but didn't bother him myself

No Gladiators next weekend due to a bunch of a over paid pansy's kicking an inflated pigs bladder on some grass for 90 minutes! I'm shocked and appalled!

I've used spoiler tags, I'm not sure if I need to but it's about who is going to be in the semi finals so if you don't want to know don't click please.

Sadly Cheaty Betti is the fastest runner up and will be back.
