Just saw this on LinkedIn ... the mummy movement. I hope she gets fired in the first round.

She needs to see someone about gettting glasses which a) suit her face and b) fit properly.

Just read this from one of the candidates:

"I’ve got an extremely high IQ. I’ve got an extremely high bench press. And to top it off, I’m quite good on the eyes."

Worth watching for Lord Sugars corny jokes and his facial expressions when he first meets the new bunch of clowns that have been recruited biggrin
Yep, can't beat a bit of comedy gold with his zippy one-liners rolleyes

Unless the tasks are finding your own arse with both hands or organising a piss up in a pub I’m not holding out much hope for this bunch.

I think you're giving them too much credit already...

Two people who run a pie company in one series? Strange coincidence.

Dunno if I'm going to watch this year, last two years have been really scrapping the barrel. They've all been dire, the "businesses" he's investing in aren't actual businesses anymore, they're far to soft on them all and it's just another run-of-the-mill reality programme at this stage. At least Selling Sunset leans into the ridiculousness. I saw the last winner is slinging cakes on TikTok now like she's going out of business every night, nothing screams high-end luxury like running a DFS-level sale on baked goods every day.

They've only done it so Shugs can riff off the pie puns...

So the winner and Lord Sugar will be 50% steakholders right?

A pie walks into a bar.

The barman says “sorry, we don’t serve food”.

Ditto, but it's still such good car crash TV watching people being so utterly useless, as well as how purposefully awful the editing is. It's basically a comedy show these days.

Kind of agree but the whole facade of them "winning" something at the end is more and more annoying given how utterly devoid of any sort of "business acumen" (pardon the Lord Sugar-ism) any of them have. Or even the ability to just have an original idea and present it in a way where they're not dribbling on their own shoes.

I've watched every series since it started out, and I am sure I will watch this but its just entertainment at this point and usually at how clueless they are.

The investment at the end isn't enough in line with inflation either, if they upped the prize to say £1m investment they might actually get some decent people.

Same - and I'm sure, the same as every year, I'll watch this with the kids and say "If you turn out like any of these walloping FcensoredKNuts I'll disown you"

I'm sure it's been said before but the £250k Investment makes all the tasks/nominations/sackings incredibly fake.

He's going to give the money to the most viable business idea, not the most competent Apprentice.

They should forget the "investment" rubbish, just have a £250k prize for the most competent contestant.

I have always thought the investment is stupid. As much as I wish I had a business idea of my own, I simply don't, but I could be a great asset to working at his business etc, but (not that I would anyway) I wouldn't be applying for the show without a business idea!
