Labelling the tubs of ingredients might have been helpful .
They fell for the setup to fail .

I gave it 15 mins then switched over to Rumpole on Talking Pictures TV.

Looks like a wise choice.

I think it superb, it has to be the best comedy show the BBC have produced in years.

£60 per person for toad in the hole that you have to cook yourself! What nonsense.

As for the candidates. What a sorry bunch of losers.

Must be a clause in the girls t&c's that they have to wear the brightest trouser suits on the market.

Not a grey in sight as they compete for the best assault on the eyes.

Agree re the clapping doctor. One to watch for comedy value.

No one on either team were wearing the same colour, there were 3 blue suits on the boys team but all different shades.

biglaughHighlight of the programme surprised it wasn't mentioned on the Your Fired show.
I actually made the same mistake. I assumed the "refund percentage" that Karen and Tim were quoting was based on the net profits rather than the gross sales.

Why do they make them march around the place, sort of fake purposeful strides?

I have spend 30 odd years in business working with entrepreneurs, extremely good managers, etc. Not one of them walks like that.

Not one of them seem credible or indeed capable of running a business. It's turned more into an entertainment show (a tired format at that) than supporting someone develop a fledgling business.

Some interesting and very valid points regarding the business aspect (or lack of) but can we briefly divert to the most important criteria of the show?

Best eye candy - Maura by a country mile. her blue eyes are incredible!

I absolutely pissed my self at his comment, we still made a £300 profit
That will be Harry Hill's TV highlight of the year.

The cream of Britain's young business minds eh? I'm sure I heard 5 Dragons fall off their chairs too.

They always have. People to see places to go!! laugh

They're probably told to try to crush the other persons hand when they go for a hand shake, you know to assert themselves!

Still, at least this year is true to form so far, so many morons!!!

Just watched it on catchup and can't believe the PM didn't get fired. He was the worst of a bad bunch. The series needs to go back to a job rather than an investment so he has an incentive to fire the worst candidate rather than keep them in because he likes the look of their business plan. Not one ounce of initiative or common sense between the lot of them. I wouldn't like to be treated by the medical "professionals" in the group.

Business plans should only be submitted at the end of the process

Doesn't need to be a Job or an investment. Just offer the £250k as a cash prize - that way it's genuinely the most competent (least incompetent??) person who wins.

As things stand the firings are complete made-up BS.

By a remarkable co-incidence the few seconds before your observation at 4:13 (I think its about 4:08ish) was Tuan Le (I think that's how it's spelled) who, at the time - and may still well be - was a PH'er and posted quite openly about his experience on here about the show and what went on behind the scenes etc, should you want to search it up.
