More than likely she knows the old boy family friend or whatever, she knows where he keeps the giro etc. Lets the BF know about it in passing, who then convinces her to go around and see him, distract him while he takes the money.

I am guessing the ex Army prensioner tackles him and he then pulls the knife. GF is then shocked at BF behaviour but doesn't want to drop him in it.
Close enough! Kudos to you, sir!

Just goes to show, never admit anything, they have nothing on him at all.
So the moral of the story is, if you don't want to get caught, don't call the emergency services?!

This programme makes me mad everytime i watch it.

Ok the BMW guy dropped himself in it by lying to the police but he could (hypothetically) have been any of us on a regional hoon, usually there is plenty of overtaking an a little bit of speeding (lets be honest). Sometimes on hoons you overtake eachother along the way. But what is to say you know anything about the guy in the other car(s) he could drive like a maniac and crash and you get done for dangerous driving just because after the accident witnesses report you going fast (even if you are doing in safely yourself at that point) in the same convoy. It could so easily happen if you think about it.

BMW chap loses his licence for 2 years which could ruin his life and he didnt hurt anyone or damage any property. Prick in the SEAT on the other hand smashes his car up, nearly kills 2 other people, ADMITS he was to blame AND there are numerous witnesses confirming his dangerous driving. What does he get? Driver fking improvement course give me a break, he will be out driving like a tt again next week without a single point on his licence. So much disparity between sentencing its unbelieveable.

Bloody hell that Civic Type R crash was massive, I thought the car held up amazingly well considering the speed. And the chap who crashed the Seat was also very lucky, never a good idea to over take on a bend.

I only saw the Type R part, and the guy who pressed the gas instead of the brake and nailed the kid on the bike (afterwards when he was recovered obviously). I think he was a priest.

That was some accident - made up I managed to get away without anyone copping my reg.

I think that lads spirit level that he is so concernd about will be shagged!
He could easily get a job with most of the major house builders then. Now that his spirit level is fked he'd fit right in.

The guy in the civic appeared to have some kitchen cabinets in his car when he crashed - lucky he didn't get a sheet of chipboard through the back of the skull!

Am I right in saying he got a 4 year ban?

I agree with that rant wholeheartedly.

However, I think once they found out for a fact the Z4 driver was lying, they decided to throw the book at him.

Yeah not good to lie to the police. I suspect if he'd said "Yep I saw him. Overtook him the he came flying past me and vanished over the hedge. So I phoned 999 and gave my real name." He'd have been in less trouble.

what a great program, a bit of local knowledge for you peeps.

where that civic crashed is at the top of a fairly steep hill (i rolled a mini clubman down it years ago ho-humm.....). From the garden centre (where they filmed the witness) its about 1 1/2 miles, very straight road (about a mile) a set of s bends you can straight line (if your driving like a tit) then the hill, (which is also very straight)

if you go over the hill fast (say 70 plus) a car will go a little light )you get that 'whooo' feeling in your belly, like a hump backed bridge, the road is blind as there is a slight dip just after the crest of the hill, so local knowledge stops most people driving fast up over the top, id guess that both cars went over very fast and the civic got a bit light. it was a good distance before he hit the house - one very lucky boy.

the fool (and he is a fool, he went out with someone my sister knew) in the z4 would have probably been turning right about 200 yards after the bungalow, so if he was in front, he probably didnt actually see the civic get it so wrong, id guess he was just aware that 'something' had happened.

what the program didnt say is that the lad in the civic had a long list of previous motoring offences, all of which where listed in the local paper last week.

edited for flashearth link, you can see the bunglaow - they where going right to left, so you can see the layby on the hill, the slight s bend and the garden centre.
