ChrisW_77 said: The ADT alarms ad, with that bellend talking about "gap year memories." Just makes me homicidal for some reason. Because most of us are now so hard up that we think he's a smug git for travelling the world on daddies credit card?

A compound irritation appears; an advert for an album made up entirely of teeth-itchingly annoying breathy cover versions of otherwise inoffensive songs and dreary anodyne ballads sung by nasal drones, 'As featured on TV!'.

There was an Adidas one on earlier that "celebrated" it being an official 2012 Olympic Partner (as does every company in this country, it seems, from Cillit Bang to your local rag man).
Soong in a 'ip 'op styleeee, it was bangin an we's all celebra'in bein culchaard an evryfin.
Now, I'm not sure if this is Adidas' take on London or if it's some drooling young ad exec trying to be "widdit" wiv ya yoof, but this is an advert for our Olympics and it shows us up as backward and derivative.
Can't we have Steve Redgrave / Amy Williams / Steve Backley / Roger Black / Jonathon Edwards etc to appear in sponsors adverts with some Elgar playing in the background?

I'm presuming that this ones been mentioned before but I'm amazed that Safestyle UK keep on using that annoying shouty bloke with the 80's perm. Makes the company look like a bunch of cowboys.

New lucozade advert, watch me get refreshed or somes t basically a politically correct black bloke doing what can only be described as an art college interpretive dance audition piece of swirling around that could be bettered by a 3 year old trying to stay stood up on a record player switched to 78

Any advert featuring the massively irritating tones of Sean Pertwee. i.e, pretty much every f king advert on TV. I hate the greasy, smug b d's self-important, way-too-OTT-sounding "Oooh... hear how smoooooth my voice is" narrating style. There are many, many things in this life that make me rage. In truth, most of them are so insignificant that I really shouldn't waste my time getting stressed over them, and it is no doubt shortening my time on this planet significantly. Sean Pertwee's voice, that has gradually become more and more a caricature of itself, is one of them.

Any advert this using the Olympics as a reason to try and flog stuff. It's months away still and I'm already sick of it being rammed down my throat at every opportunity

i hate comparison websites because not only do they have s t, infuriating ads, but also they don't even show decent deals. Many people actually buy insurance through them too, and think they are great! It is just easier... you pay for your laziness, but many a fat keyboard-stabbing council estate couch potato don't give a f k

The Barclays ad. "If you win, could you lend me £10,000. I owe it to that kid. It was a conkers game that got out of hand.
If I win £10,000. I will do something drastic to stop your inane, nonsensical prattle.

I don't know what the advert is for but its simplistic fist in the face message is really steaming my piss. We see an old woman in a funeral car driving past a pregnant woman. They share knowing looks about the journey ahead there is some sentimental s te song in teh background f k right off even if I knew what the adert was for and wanted whatever it is they were selling I would never buy it.

audi 'ugly duckling' ad implying that the snoozefest that is the A5 is somehow the pinnacle of good design. Basically the bit they have missed about what they are showing everyone is that despite the fact the old car looks weird, at least they used to be an innovative company - now they are just a purveyor of boredom.
