Adverts that make you wanna smash your TV set up.
Discussion
The one where some bloke accosts people during a train journey and tries to sell them gold coins or a magazine about buying gold coinss or something about gold. You can see it held my attention.
On the other hand I may be simply getting confused over my desire to put the smarmy moustachioed tt into the people you want to punch in the face thread.

Nissan Juke "Urban Thrill Ride" advert.
God it annoys me so much that Nissan can make an advert showing that the Juke is a car for wizzing around the city jumping, doing handbrake turns (or at least very sharp turns) which we are meant to believe shows how exciting and agile the car is.....
So why the fk is it not banned the same way Jaguar's adverts were for supposedly promoting speed as part of enthusiastic driving?!
I don't want idiots in their Jukes thinking that they can race around multi story car parks or worse still thinking their car has any sporting characteristics.

Yes! That annoys the st out of me. It's the same with the old corsa ad with the coloured smoke, flying about the city, but it's OK because they're cute little corsas.God it annoys me so much that Nissan can make an advert showing that the Juke is a car for wizzing around the city jumping, doing handbrake turns (or at least very sharp turns) which we are meant to believe shows how exciting and agile the car is.....

Meanwhile we have to watch an ad promoting a car that's actually interesting to see it going 4mph not advertising any of it's potential.

Having said that, Audi completely knocked this one out the ballpark. One of the best car adverts in recent years and broke none of these rules. Meanwhile we have to watch an ad promoting a car that's actually interesting to see it going 4mph not advertising any of it's potential.

Didnt see it, what happened??
Basically a gorilla with an automatic weapon unexpectedly killing someone. I'm not usually part of the Mary Whitehouse brigade, but it seemed a bit off to have an advert where someone gets violently killed in the half time of a World Cup semi final when there are going to be loads of children watching. It was an advert clearly designed to shock.Magog said:

It's worse than the similar advert where a "child" is asking how long 60mins is.
fk off!
I always think the next line should be "then you'd have to average 62mph, which you have fk all chance of doing on a French autoroute at this time of year" or something similar.fk off!
This has probably already been mentioned, but the goddamn fking Confused one with the robot. Vaguely amusing the first time I saw it but now it seems to be on during every fking ad break on every fking channel!
(edit) Also, some tool company (no idea what they're called) has done a singing ad to the tune of Agadoo. I nearly kicked the TV in for real when I first saw that one!
