The new Apple 5s advert saying how much better you & your children's lives will be if you purchase Apple products. Complete with, the now to be expected on most adverts, wafty singing alongside some strumming guitar music.

That BBC promo advertising their radio iPlayer playlist thing with Chris Evans warbling a coldplay tune. Cringeworthy although not an advert in the traditional sense.

The 'Have I got PPI' radio ad, I hear it every morning on Absolute Radio and it makes me want to fling said radio through the window before jumping on it multiple times.

And for the record - No I don't have any fcensoreding PPI you bunch of sad useless tcensoredts, to be honest if all of the PPI I have apparently had actualy existed I'd be a millionaire by now!
I feel your pain. Surely everyone whose ever taken out PPI has claimed it by now? From what I understand you just claim it back from the bank and don't even need this lot to do the work for you?

Yes, but still they phone me with their pre-recorded speech. I have never been so dumb as to agree to PPI with any finance. Why don't they check first - have they asked the Queen yet?

I have a hunch that the banks now just pay up without a whimper. Probably don't even check whether you ever borrowed from them, so pissed off are they. I'm not denying that they have missold these policies in the past, but I'm guessing more people have had refunds than should have, if you know what I mean. I know the public - it's gimme, gimme.

Apparently it was built into the repayments and they didn't tell you.

I can believe that some dodgy staff (trying to reach targets) ticked the box without asking the customer, but even so, the borrower would have had detailed written agreements to read within the "cooling-off" period. It's all shown on there. Either they couldn't read, or (more likely) they wanted the money so fast they didn't bother. Gimme, gimme.

There is a wider issue around consumer contractual law, plain English and the suitability of T&Cs to be read by laymen etc

Certain words.

Goodness - What is that supposed to really mean?
Natural - Usually used with the word above. Or things like "Natural wheat". Err, where do I get the UN-natural stuff from?

Saw it the other week. Can't remember what brand it was for but it was shaving cream I assume. All I remember was a guy had just put shaving cream all over his face and a woman sneaks up behind him with a cutthroat razor, reaches round his neck and... starts shaving his face. Who on earth would ever do that and think its a good idea!?
"Buy our shaving foam and maniac women will set about your jugular with razorblades"

The new Citreon C1 advert where a guy drives around what would appear to be an almost empty car park. He then spots two cars with a gap between them just big enough for the C1 to park, so he parks there and then squeezes himself out from the car.

ahole.

Hate when folk do that to me at the supermarket.
I also detest people who do that and this advert as a result.

It's also another tedious variation of the "car in a desert" cliché that's been done to death for decades.

Same goes for that unbelievably pretentious BMW i8 advert.

The way they've dubbed over what sounds like a V8 when (I'm pretty sure) the car has a three cylinder turbo?

The one for some feminine hygiene product involving 2 women in identical purple outfits. I cannot for the life of me figure out what the advertiser is trying to say. Even though i am not in their target demographic I keep watching the damn thing in a bizarre quest for enlightenment.

The one where the protagonist is wearing it back to front and only realises when she sees another woman in the same dress but worn correctly? I'm not sure either, although I think it's along the lines of "don't let things ruin your day" or something.

I've not clicked on the link but can I assume it's the go compare advert?
