Microsoft Lotus advert, what a load of ************
It always made me chuckle when they started running that advert last year during the F1 season. Especially when it goes on about how the software makes Lotus be the best team they can be on track Somebody at the ad agency must have cringed at that wording given how well the team did last year DickP said:
Not on TV, but doing the rounds by Radio is that irritating Audi advert with the child talking about using Aldi genuine parts and Aldi genuine diagnostic equipment (or at least that is how it sounds to me). Have to turn the radio off now whenever it starts!
YES!!Aldi, aldi aldi. IT'S AUDI YOU LITTLE st. Children should not be used for advertising cars, especially ones that can't say the fking brand name, and who is that st aimed at anyway? The last I checked the Audi range wasn't exactly feminine looking, so the awww factor is flying right over mens heads and sends normal people into insta-rage. Or is it just me?

2 adverts on channel 4 at the minute.
Firstly - one for some new.celebrity reality tv winter sports show.
The advert for this consists of over a minute of z-listers gurning into a fan breeze to look like they're doing a ski jump. 10 seconds of it would be annoying but a whole minute of it genuinely makes me want to throttle whoever decided it was a good idea.
Secondly - the one for a big upcoming NFL American Football match. The advert ends you "you're going to need to sickie".
I'm incensed that here's an advert blatantly encouraging people to falsely call in sick due to deliberately having a heavy night watching the match. In fact, I'm actually going to complain to the ASA about it, it is outrageously irresponsible

We have to turn the radio down at work when the bd child and of a woman come on.
Also the gay that advertises 'Vodafone winter deals'.

There is a similar Scottish Government backed scheme to promote healthy eating amongst us Scots on the tele at the moment.
The two adverts I have seen have filled me with the useful fact that, you can always freeze a meal and have it another day.

I mean fk me, really. You actually thought we needed to know this.....
and not to go food shopping when your hungry to avoid buying ste.

I mean fk me, what think tank sat around and thought we need to tell people that they can freeze or reuse food that they seem to be flinging in the fking bin because they are too thick to use their fking fridge freezer and an old ice cream tub.
Id like to see the figures that it cost, and sit them down and ask each and everyone how the fk they landed the easiest job in the world.
I'd then send them off to be shot.
The tragic thing is the people that need this knowledge are too busy with repeats of Jezza Kyle and perusing that night's takeaway menu to actually see it. Hiring unemployed Norwegian and Japanese whalers to stalk the streets of Scotland looking for fat people, harpooning them with tranquilisers and hauling them off to 'how to buy and cook food like normal folk' concentration camps would be cheaper and more effective. The two adverts I have seen have filled me with the useful fact that, you can always freeze a meal and have it another day.

The first ad CC is presumably for "The Jump",which has possibly ruined Ola Jordan's dancing career.
Won't be tuning in for that.
Doubt that anyone held a gun to her head forcing her to do it. Heres an idea if your career depends on you not busting your legs, maybe doing ski jumps isnt the best move. Won't be tuning in for that.

That insurance advert with Brian the robot (the name of the product escapes me); now we've got Brian in peril and all his robot pals rushing to his aid; yet another bloody advertising campaign that looks like it's growing arms and legs and turning into a fking soap opera like those sodding meerkats.

Stand by for plushy Brians being given away to attract mouthbreathing insurance buyers.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
