Stand by for plushy Brians being given away to attract mouthbreathing insurance buyers.
Did you get a plushy elephant with yours? If so, what did you do with it?
I think he hid it...

No one seems to have nominated that truly ghastly advert for the new Corsa.
I find this actually incredible, and was expecting it to have it's own thread. Hardly aspirational is it?

Have any other manufacturers created adverts for new cars that are actually aimed at the 2nd hand market 10 years hence?

Does any sad bd oxygen-wasting wkers actually collect these fking rodent bd ebola-ridden flea-bitten meerkat toys? (Apart from somebody in my office who has one on his desk)
Our dog really dislikes "Little Baby Oleg" and next time I buy insurance I am going to get him one, he is going to fk it up with maximum prejudice based on how mental he goes when he sees the adverts.

I quite like the ads though.

The new Kia adverts with the "Kia families" describing how their respective car makes them feel.

Most annoying part being the annoying brats at the end of the advert "I'd make an excellent driver"... "oh hark at little miss perfect" banghead

Just fk right off - nobody believes any of you are "real" owners and are really just paid actors.

i think the point is that he saved money with them, and now is happy.
So when you are happy you put a suit jacket on with a shirt and tie, high heels and hot pants and walk down a road acting like one of the pussy cat dolls ?

I thought not!

I think this advert is a bit disturbing tbh.

Rod.

The new Burger King advert where some hipster wker says "shut the back door" as a term of disbelief of a piece of cheap slurried chicken covered in batter and deep fried is somehow worthy of a nonsensical outburst.

How about shut up you fking . That's better.

Yeah, that got on my tits too, mainly though, as the saying is "shut the front door", not back door, you tards.

That insurance advert with Brian the robot (the name of the product escapes me); now we've got Brian in peril and all his robot pals rushing to his aid; yet another bloody advertising campaign that looks like it's growing arms and legs and turning into a fking soap opera like those sodding meerkats.
THIS. Had Soccer Saturday on this afternoon and this piece of st was on during every single fking ad break!!

It would be nice to think that at some stage car manufacturers might stop making adverts which feature their new models not been shown off by hipster twonks with spray cans while driving past graffiti in an "edgy" urban environment. Especially when the actual people who buy their small cars will mainly be driving them to church coffee mornings, bingo and funerals.

I'm looking at you Skoda, Seat and Nissan.

I've checked back for some months and can't find it mentioned, which has surprised me no end.

The hotel add with the obnoxious woman talking to an out of shot 'Colin'.

He was in a previous incarnation of the advert and one would assume he either wanted his kids to be proud of him, so refused any more, or else demanded more money for the continuation.

My money's on the former.

"Car shown May vary from UK specification"
All that money car manufacturers make and they cannot be arsed to re-shoot for the uk market.

ridiculous thing to say. They don't vary that much! Why would they spend a further million quid or whatever re-shooting the same ad, just because of the colour of the washer bottle lid differs?

Small stuff is ok but what about if it does not come with sat nav, alloys and a bunch of other things?
Maybe it's to get round false advert rules?

I'm pretty sure they're not going to show the sat nav if it's not available in the markets that will air the ad. When they say spec it's a broad definition. Could be the wheels or maybe colour of the door handles. Not things that are a big deal, or that the ad message depends upon.

Clearly inspired by Kylie Minogue's "Come into my world" video.

I hate the British Gas cartoon ones with that service engineer rushing to the rescue and staring in through the boiler viewing window. Too tight to have a proper actor and set the bstrdas.
