I don’t know if it’s still on but the McDonalds punk advert with The Buzzcocks song ‘what do I get…’
Sorry but if I am ever desperate enough to eat McDonalds food I do not want it to be constructed in a disinterested fashion by the naked fingers and painted nails of passive aggressive skank who looks like she’s gone straight to work from some debaucherous class ‘A’ fuelled punk gig.
I’m surprised by the whole thing, associating your food with the punk movement? Showing your food being flung together with scant regard for food preparation hygiene? While gormless pervert looks on? Is that appealing to anyone?

The new Microsoft one. "I couldn't do this on a Mac". Crock of st.
Is this the one with the American mountaineer who has "summited" Everest 6 times? I know PH doesn't like grammar Nazis (like wot I am) but this is typical of halfwit US monkeys - check your dictionary you stupid cow, summit is a noun......it's a bad as "podiumed".HustleRussell said:

Confused sacking off Brian & The Robots and replacing them with James Corden driving a car with every traffic light turning green as he approaches them. It's almost as if they've thought "Hmmm, we need to rebrand. I know let's hire a celebrity who's currently on trend".
Yes, totally agree. Not overly keen on James Corden anyway so I'm slightly biased but an extremely annoying ad all the same. Also not sure that having Marc Bolan playing in the background to a car driving/car insurance advert is the wisest choice of music anyone's made.
advertising blurb said:
James Corden has the drive of his life, hitting green light after green light to nail the smoothest of rides, because he's a winning driver. The driver wins with us.
Driver wins. What is a driver win?
We champion drivers by celebrating their golden car-related moments. You know that good feeling you get when a car leaves an otherwise-packed car park, and you nab that space? That’s a driver win!
And we’re all about the driver wins. Whether that’s a smooth run of green lights, belting out a guilty pleasure that comes on the radio, or saving money on your car insurance.
We’d love to hear about your finest driving moments.

I decided it was so the pre pubescent boy could be at the window with the edgey looking girl serving. In other nominations, more New Tesco ads for the days out, especially the one where she feigns being electrocuted by the sparky glass thing.

Picking up on Thankyou4calling's post - the Which? adverts for their booklets are irritating.
This and the fact that its just a ruse to get the plebs that phone up wanting one to sign up to a Which subscription. Despite mentioning about 50 times in the adverts that theyre free ( they are, but the first thing they ask is for your card details for a subscription) oddball1313 said:
The Direct Line ones with Harvey Keitel doing the whole wise guy Mr Winston Wolfe bullst - total cringe, not remotely funny, just baffling that he was prepared to do it, all I can think was the cheque must have been huge cause his career isn't going to be now.
He's 77. He's probably thinking, "future career? fk it, I'm done". I'm also guessing the adverts won't be seen in the US, in the same way that some surprisingly big names have done ads for Japanese market.oddball1313 said:

I quite like the 'let's get the fudge out of Rog" one. oddball1313 said:

It's the only time a GT86 is going to sound that good... I'm going to preemptively nominate any advert in the next four years featuring an athlete that participated in the 2016 Olympics.

You don't need to. Aldi, Lidl, Muller & Samsung (amongst others) are already running various ones with Team GB athletes as part of their sponsorship agreements. Plus, a couple of nights ago, Nissan have started a cringeworthy advertising campaign as part of their sponsorship of Team GB at the Paralympics.Mr Gearchange said:

Any ad with music on it that I like but when I Shazam it I get a load of blurb about the thing that's being advertised instead of being told what the fecking song is!
Yea Shazam seem to have teamed up with many advertisers to offer this feature Try an app like Soundhound instead, same in principle, but in theory shouldn't jump to the advert
Ford have launched their new "Do I deserve that new car?" advertising featuring a woman mulling over whether she deserves to buy herself a new car on an expensive PCP deal.
The biggest annoyance in the advert is the fact that Ford are now following in the footsteps of Audi, Mercedes, etc, by making all their base models look like performance ones by rebranding their range into "ST-Line".

The new Apple Carplay ad - here...
"Can you be hands on and hands free?"
Appears to show Apple Bird pulling away from a parking space into traffic while checking her phone...
Just what today's roads need - Apps on the dashboard!
Just came on to nominate that one myself. Yet another fantastic creation designed to distract a certain demographic of drivers even more than they are already "Can you be hands on and hands free?"
