Those idiots in the knock on wood advert.
But some adverts really give me the horn

But most of all at the moment that chubby bird in the Tesco Adverts. She's on the wrong side of Curvy but if she those mince pies she'll be a candidate for white Di Abbot material its like that fat birds and feeders programme that was on the telly

Sainsbury's Christmas ad... unbelievably bad.

James Corden repeating himself endlessly, why did they think that was a good idea ?

The ever increasing number of different and equally annoying Amazon adverts that are being played over and over again on nearly every ad break in some form or other.

So far covering everything from Black Friday (which evidently started this Monday and runs for the next 3 weeks so not exactly a 1 day thing any more then) to Jeremy Clarkson plugging Fire, the fking Echo ste, and probably the worst one of all being the moron new parents buying a lion costume so that the kid will like the dog as much as it likes the cuddly lion toy.

Is it wrong that part of me wanted the dog to maul one of the parents as punishment for making it look so bloody stupid?

The first time: "Oh that´s quite clever and vaguely original"

The next THREE MILLION: "Oh who cares" - FWD

No, no you don't.
In our house we just don't get it, I was surprised John Lewis sell trampolines in the first place, and surely they are firmly in the 'council' end of the children's toy spectrum, not really the JL demographic, then what sort of Muppet buys one as a Christmas gift, I bet most kids are just dying to go outside for a bounce on a below zero morning.
And how does he build the thing, in the snow on Christmas eve, they were never the easiest thing to put together especially without leaving a single footprint in the snow.
And that's before getting to the issue of the 'wildlife' not tearing each other to shreds on the thing, that would have been a nice Christmas morning sight.
I'm also sick of the sight of the bloody Aldi Carrot which seems to have double billing in most prime time advert breaks, and well every Christmas advert trying to but a human tear jerking slant on buying needless crap for people you dislike and who don't want it, and over consuming of food.....not really Christmas's biggest fan.hehe

Is it just me who's starting to think that the PE list of things that are council is even longer than the Daily Mail's list of things that are carcinogenic? hehe

Another vote for a porker
This time the one in the LIDL turkeys advert
I don't even believe these people do tweet LIDL I think its bks made up to fit in with the advert and the last thing the roly poly wants is early xmas dinners. She would be ste on any farm as she can hardly lift anything and it would take her all night to get the turkeys in.
I'm not totally against fat women as some of you may gleam from my other posts but its not a good idea to have them promoting things before xmas

Evidently lots of women have complained to the ASA / Lidl about the advert content because of the demeaning / condescending attitude towards the female "customer" when the male farmer asks her "have you ever done any manual labour?" rolleyes

When I told my mum that, after she'd watched the advert last night, her response was that if the advert does put women in a bad light it's not due to the farmer asking a perfectly normal and valid question, but because the "customer" is a stupid, vacuous idiot for coming out with views / tweets about the farmer, farming, the turkey farm, etc, like "So where are these Lidl (in place of little) turkeys then?" and "oh, I thought it would be like a turkey prison".

Nice one mum biggrin

Yes just pointless unless its to "humourlessly" show us how Tesco Party food relates to a party where you invite a dullard along.
Again I do think the woman looks simply huge and to be blunt on the obese side

I mentioned this one earlier in the thread- I think it's the worst advert on TV at the moment (or ever?)

The way he interrogates you about 'whether you've done anything about your PPI yet' is bordering on confrontational.

If ever I see that advert I re-assess whether or not I really need to be watching the TV. It's obviously aimed at the terminally lazy / unemployed / elderly / compensation claimant lot as I've only ever seen it on in the middle of the day when I'm usually doing something constructive.
