The film is out on Blu-Ray now and apparently it looks like a very good conversion - I would have watched it by now, but Play.com sent me Quantum of Solace instead - grrr.

I think the RAF College of Air Warfre used JP3s and/or 4s rather than the later 5s.

My brother's in a syndicate which owns a 4 and a 5.. I have to say I can't remember which one I had a go in. I think it was the 5, which although newer has a higher fatigue life so the syndicate has a lower self-imposed g limit on the 5. We went up to the limit on one turn mind, and my head wasn't quite right for a few minutes afterwards!
