Legend83 said: Thankfully we had Tropic Thunder to follow - pretty amusing. Didn't realise Tom Cruise was in this...he was hilarious. Downey Jnr stole the show though. Saw this last week - very funny, especially Tom Cruise! Robert Downey Jnr. "What d'you mean 'YOU PEOPLE'?"

Ended up watching a good part of Shawshank Redemption the other night due to channel hopping, thought I'd watch a bit of it before going to bed, of course even though I've seen it 3 or 4 times before, I ended up watching the rest of it. As good as ever.

benoli said: Licence to Kill (ITV) I also watched this, though T. Dalton is perfectly acceptable as a Bond, I really didn't think that much of this film. Good lorry scene at the end but not much else, seemed a bit drab (though Q lightened the mood a bit)

Quantume of Solace was good, but occaisionally disinteresting. American Beauty was as good as ever, althought I don't think the Italian dubbing for Thora Birch was the right actress (too "girly")

Kung-Fu Panda, Madagascar 2, Bolt, Meet the Robinson, - Watch them with my son, these were actully good films. He actully sat still and watch Bolt all the way through when we were in the cinema.
IronMan, The Dark Knight, Cloverfield - Was a bit dissapointed with the end of Cloverfield as i wanted to know what happened to the Alien. Ironman was a brain off enjoyable film and i love the performance of Bail and Ledger in the DK.

Forgot to mention Shoot 'Em Up The most unrealistic film I have ever seen, but still found it funny to watch! Plus it has Monica Bellucci in

And to prove the Oscars are a bunch of s t, it didn't even get one!

I thought it was going to be a serious film when I read the synopsis. How wrong was I? After 5 mins I realised what I was going to be in for, I still never felt the need to change channels, though. The fact that it was so unbelievable made it a bit easier to watch
