Safe House- Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington affair with plenty of action and a good pace, story is pretty good too imo, Brendan Gleeson also appears. Reminded me a little of the bourne films, which isnt a bad thing.8/10
John Carter- Better than I had been told, and quite enjoyable if you prepare to leave your brain at the door! although where the budget went I do not know!! Disney have tried to make it appeal to kids and adults but could have got away with being a little darker imo. Good family action adventure though. 6/10

Middlemen. True(ish) story of the rise of Internet porn. Not cheap or cheesy. Great characters, funny, well acted, good story. (with a few gorgeous girls thrown in) 8.5/10

MiB 3 - As already said better than two but obviously not going to be as good as one. I thought young K (actors name escapes me) managed to replicate Tommy Lee Jones' voice really well, slightly annoyed they had that talentless muppet Pitbull doing the credits song rather than Will Smith.
Goldfinger and LotR: The Two Towers were on yesterday, both absolute classics.
Watched The Green Mile which I thought I'd seen before but hadn't. Amazing film, thought it was absolutely brilliant!

I've watched it twice now having made my O/H watch it (she liked it too).
Highly recommended. shane meadows is doing a documentary of the stone roses reunion so that is something to look out for in the future.

Watched MI Ghost Protocol for the first time last night; enjoyable enough and it looked gorgeous but probably won't watch again anytime soon. That said, the girl who played Carver was

Thought MI4 was cringeworthy myself. The humour is off and Tom cruise is getting too old for the role.

first 16 minutes of Cell 211, f king brilliant. Spanish movies are the s.hiet. I often find american movies to be too mood-insinuating. They set the scenes so that now you should feel like this, now you should feel like that - with the music to match. I much prefer movies where things just happen and you interpret and process them how you want - the experience becomes all the better for it.

Deathwatch (2002) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deathwatch_(2002_film...Watched this last night: cast includes Jamie Bell, Laurence Fox, Kris Marshall, Hugo Speer and Andy Serkis - and thought it was pretty good, but I have a keen interest in World War history. Horror suspense genre - 7/10.

Agreed, not as funny as the last two, I watched them both recently with the family before going to see mib 3. Still enjoyable though.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo... the 2011 "English language" version.
Fantastic. So good in fact, that I'm going to watch the 2009 version and its sequels.

Agoogy said: Drive - nothing wrong with this film, don't go exoecting remorseless car based action, it's a slow, moody, action/drama with a good soundtrack, some decent killing and a little car based stuff. I liked it alot...but I like revenge/hitman films and this one is slick. 9/10 Thought this film was very hyped!!!Unfortunately it did not deliver...not enough Drive=Boring
