Stuart: A life Backwards

Tom Hardy & Benedict Cumberbatch in a real life story of a middle class man (Benedict) befriending a homeless guy (Tom).

Really enjoyed this movie.
I've heard good things about this movie so will plan to watch it soon. Just saw Bronson and Tom Hardy is quickly becoming my favourite actor. Not sure how he can pull of a character like Stuart though? What did you make of his performance?

And the first thing that flashed into my gulliver was that I'd like to have her right down there on the floor with the old in-out, real savage.

Great film

Well, the moment he found the 'other' in the rover thing, the game was up. Spacey was criminally underused.

Yeah, I took that as the point when the viewer understood that there was some mad cloning st going on, and then the rest of the film would be the interaction between the two clones and what they do about it. Different strokes I suppose!

Tyrannosaur - amazing film. I know it's a cliche but can't say anything than so deep yet so simple. Brilliant performance by Peter Mullan. I can't recall watching anything better than this so far this year. Bravo Paddy! 10/10

Animal country - well made film but I struggled to see the point of it. 5/10

I watched Tyrannosaur on Sunday night, agree with your comments. Not easy or comfortable watching but brilliantly done.

Watched two movies over the weekend that have now made my top 10 list and both involve Kevin Spacey whom has also now reached my top 5 of favorite actors list:

Swimming with Sharks
Glen Garry Ross

Amazing films! I then watched KPAX again which was awesome!

also, viewed Jar Head for the second time and loved it so much I made the OH watch it with me again later that night!

Edited to say that since I am on a Kevin Spacey kick, SHRINK was a great watch as well.

I want to add that if some of you are into WELL MADE AND DONE Zombie movies, of which there are a major lack of, get to seeing DEAD GIRL.

Dont judge it on the first 20 minutes, trust me, its up there with the best of them and all without major players, money or a million zombies. It doesnt have that low budget feel to it either.

Be forewarned however, it is NOT for young children and its a bit taboo, you will understand when you see it, but its mental and freaky and the zombie is scary as hell!

John Carter - Not as bad as I expected. The film had little to do with the books, the plot was largely nonsense the acting wasn't the best and some of the special effects were dreadful (I'm looking at you early jumping scenes). However, some of the effects were brilliant, the white apes and the Tharks especially and it was quite fun. 7/10
