Its got some great lines - will be interesting to see it when its properly finished.

ETA: okay forget that - they've just painted the underside white frown

I have to agree at this stage. It looks like it ought to be made from wood and yet the outer shell looks like hardboard.

They (on the TV) love it. I reckon it'll look fab once finished. The outer shell will probably get painted which might work.

I like the fact that Farmer Giles is not only working the farm, but also managing the farm and the house-build...

...whilst wifey draws pictures with a crayon fixed to a stick and talks about space a lot.

She is just askng for a clip round the ear

TBH would you let her PM the build?

So once again Kevin points out some standard good practice detailing and it's farmer Giles that seems to be taking the credit because he 'PM's the job?

I also liked the guy seaming the zinc roof by hand whilst treading all over it...

Whilst I like the gate, I hate it where they have put it. More a clash of cultures than 'tone on tone'.

A stunning build, but I don't really like this one.

I am also amused with the farmer's wife running a gallery of 'artisans'. That isn't a combination / blend of vocations I have seen before.

I can't help but give in to SWMBO who keeps asking whether he is being subsidised to grow things, or whether he is actually being subsidised to NOT grow things. Bless the EU.

Looked like something you'd find around Stalag Luft III.

Just me who doesn't think it looks anything like a home should?

The bedrooms look like beds have just been put in an office. Something strange about it that i cant put my finger on

Finally one with a garage!!
Looks like a nice building, but not one I would want to live in. Far too much glass for my liking. And why the toss would you waste £40K on a stair case, only to paint the damn thing white?!

Was justing thinking that... it has the shape of a BMW / Audi dealership - but the interior look of a modern hotel.
