I watched Shirley Valentine on the TV last night.

It bought back memories from years ago of a couple of friends from down the pub. After watching the film, she decided to change her life. She left her job, left her dick head of a husband, moved into a one bed flat by the sea and set up her own craft business…

I wondered, are there any films that have changed your life or that of your friends?

Or songs for that matter?

I wouldn't go so far as to say it changed my life, but for some reason I find the film Vanilla Sky to be a source of positivity, and I tend to watch it if I'm feeling down. It has within it a few emotional triggers for me, and it reminds me of the great times in my past.

Oddly enough, I seem to be the only person who likes or appreciates the film. I tend to have a passion for the depressive or macabre, hence my love of Sigur Ros and Coldplay music!
