Gavin & Stacey doesn't appeal to me, I've tried.

The December issue of FHM on the other hand.

Is it just me, or has it really lost it?

I finally succumbed to the hype and gave Gavin & Stacey a go tonight.

Nope, I don't get it.

I, as usual, thought it was very good.

Nessa is the best thing in the world. I'd love to read an autobiography of hers!

And, strangely, I would. boxedin

So would I.

I like women with some meat on their bones. lick I don't understand the attraction of thin women with boy-like figures.....something very dodgy about that. nono

liked some of the early episodes but this was weak....even wifey whos a "fan" only laughed once (4+4)

Old lady that swears....lazy writting. Some of the gags where very flat - baby on a monitor next to her? didnt even make sense....so many better ways to do that gag.

Get Bryn to sing...funny, but again - lazy.

The nessa/smiths mum on the internet thing summed it up....easy gag that made little sense but stick it in anyway.

They can write people but they cant write funny. They are lucky that some of their actors could make anything funny.

I'd be amazed if thats right. To me its a non-joke (as per the fishing trip)... they do it to get people doing this..talking about it - and its worked, even heard some moron on R1 talking about it and having Welsh people provide all manner of nonsense as to what it means.

Just what I thought too! - Very much just 'going through the motions'. + I can't help feeling there are a few people that just want exposure now its got a bigger following.

Some of those gags were cringeworthy! Especially the baby monitor.

Hope Dawns in it next week yum

Slightly O/T, was the actress that plays Stacey in 'Love Actually'?
