Thats what I do. I am quite shocked that Channel 4 seem to put this on some obscure channel. Why is it not on Sundays on Channel 4? I know the umpteen out-of-order repeats are.
Because Channel 4 are utter fkwits. They have mishandled TBBT for years. I am hoping Sky can swoop in and fk them over.

Fortunately that's just the character. Melissa Rauch, on the other hand, is utterly utterly adorable:

Do people still mind which channel things are on?

They are all there in the box---just means you have to press a different button.

Doesn't matter to me.
Same here, it's just 136 on my Skybox instead of, I'm not sure what number channel 4 is on, my 104 is S4C.

E4 was basically created to show Sit-coms for 20 somethings.

Correct. It was launched in twenty-o-one and is still going strong in twenty-fourteen. None of that horribly old fashioned nineteen-somethings to be seen, thank goodness.

I prefer the squeaky voice. She'd do it for me.

Thanks to a voice over when watching repeats, I know what happens. Sort it out E4!

I'd imagine they'd settle for less. Weren't the Friend's cast on $1m an episode more than 10 years ago?

They are only semi-skilled actors afterall. They have to make hay.

I shudder to think of the new levels of unfunniness the next 3 series will will plunge to.

I love TBBT but I can't remember the last time it made me laugh on purpose.
Shockingly predictable too, sometimes like you've already seen the script.

Well, actually you have...a few times.

Like so many shows in the past, they will relentlessly flog it until any legacy it would have left is permanantly tainted.

Might be the actors way to get them to bring the end in sooner.

Yes, friends were on a million an episode, which broke all sorts of records. But friends finished right on time IMO, I'm sick of modern shows ruining their legacy with additional seasons etc.

Now Sheldon left & Lenard & penny at engaged, it's a good time to call it wraps.

Also, as alluded above, many of the cast is very weak IMO, with penny constantly coming out of character. Sheldon is played brilliantly though.

That's the problem with the yanks - no sense of history, or perhaps just too much greed.

It's killed so many programmes - they have a hit on their hands, agents tell them they can get $xxxxxx a show, Network begrudgingly agrees because it has huge viewing figures and will still make money - audience slips a few % and suddenly even with X million viewers a week it's loss making.

Friends went on for way too long, should have been finished the second time Ross and thingy got together and Chandler Bing and the other one got together.

While you are technically correct, you are also very wrong biggrin

Yeah it went downhill but it was still watched and enjoyed by many.
If someone feels it's gone on too long then they can stop watching and be happy with all they've seen so far.
Friends on a bad day was still funnier than many many shows out there.
On a similar note, just saw an advert for series 2 of Noel Fielding's Luxury 'Comedy' show.
They could do an episode of Friends where they all sit in a sewer reading a dulux chart and it'd be funnier than 'Luxury Comedy'
