Howards mum has already been seen in the series, unlike Maris who was never seen IIRC.

Yes, she was strangely dumped. I suppose the stories moved in another direction, plus I don't think the audience would approve of Lenard having an affair.

I would have loved to see a storyline of her getting together with Raj only for her still to have feelings for Leonard. Or something similar.
