A lot of the time it looks like Penny,or Kaley,is trying not to laugh out loud with her Sheldon interactions.
Agree they are v funny.
I regularly see a smirk. It humanises the whole thing and is all the better for it.

I'm sure it's not a spoiler to post this. The hair is getting longer which is a win smile

... the relationship and interaction between Sheldon and Penny. Personally, I find that far more key to TBBT than any other other character interaction.
I have always found the little exchanges between these two better than everything else about the series put together. Like much comedy, it is about a relationship between two people who irritate the fk out of each other, but love each other dearly nonetheless.
Nail on the head here, Penny and Sheldon, and their interactions make the show for me.

Interestingly I hated TBBT at first, but have grown to love it!

I love the earlier shows where they get on less - the Panty Piñata episode, for example, is a brilliant example of the character interplay between them smile

Singing soft kitty to each other is a fave, and when she sits in his spot and eats his food too hehe

Easily the best two characters, and it's a great cast so that's saying something.

Penny: Is that my arm?
Sheldon: It doesn't feel like an arm.
Penny: Then maybe you should let it go.

Nothing scheduled for next week either based on the TV guides.

My guess would be 24th March as that way they should be able to run it completely to season end with no further breaks.
17th March according to advert last night.

Why am I even slightly bothered?

Last night watched a couple of old episodes, the season 3 finale, where they bounce the laser off the moon, Penny realises just how thick Zac is, has the YeeHa episode in Leonard's bed, and the others set Sheldon up with Amy Farrah Fowler. Immediately followed by the season 4 opener, where Howard gets attached :ahem: to the robotic hand, and Shamy surfaces.

Completely different class of writing.

Ah, I'm the same, it's inoffensive at worst I think, there's still the odd gem there, but it's not the show it was, the Shark was jumped more than a while ago and it's more Soap than Sit-Com now.

Zac is one of my favourite minor character's, he is just so thick, it's brilliant. But I think Sheldon's Mum is the best of the minor's.

"Tell a man not to do something and it's all he wants to do. If we hadn't told my brother stumpy to keep his hand out the wood chipper, we'd still be calling him Edward!!

Zac is good.

He's in one of my favourites.

Where he and Penny are divorcing.

I follow him on Instagram, he would DEARLY love to show the world that despite being famous for playing a geeky guy, he's really a Hollywood superstar with a rocknroll god attitude - but he looks like a teenager trying to act cool.
In his defence, it's all of their "big break" and it's not lasting forever. Typecasting can be a huge problem, I find it hard to imagine any of them in any other type of role to be honest. I can imagine he's doing everything he can to avoid that, admittedly maybe not in the best way.

I guess they'll go the same was as the cast of Friends - half of them pretty much just playing the character they are playing right now just in different settings, the other half near as dammit disappearing without trace! With the exception of a couple of straight-to-DVD (straight-to-Netflix? Is that even a thing?) art films to show off their range of acting skills of course.
Hope I'm wrong but that's the way I see them going, can't think of any big TV star that has left their big break behind?

Robin Williams (Mork)
George Clooney (ER)
Joseph Gordon-Levitt (3rd rock from the sun)
Bradley Cooper (Alias)
Ashton Kutcher (That 70's Show)

These are just off the top of my head, and there are probably dozens more, but all of them got their big break on TV and none of them still drag that with them I think.
Of course, for every one of them there's a 100 who don't.
On the other hand, big stars are flocking to TV now so there's that biggrin.
