Brilliant is a bit strong, but certainly in our house a titter or two ran round the audience, which in no way refers to Penny's frock.

OK, lack of story may deny the brilliant tag, but I did notice a nice stream of witty one-liners that reminded me of the old days.

Quality has certainly dipped over the years and is slowly turning into 'friends 2' but its still one of the better comedies on TV so until something better comes along I'll keep watching.

I do think they may have shot themselves in the foot by making Bernadette pregnant though.

The problem is though - Where else was it going to go?

I think Modern Family and Veep rank higher.

Is Silicon Valley a sitcom?

I really enjoy Parks and Recreation, Better Call Saul, Archer. Hell, even House of Cards is a better comedy than this now.

Assuming the actress is pregnant they probably didn't have much choice!

Some shows will continue with a pregnant actress and just shoot it more craftily to hide the bump and write a storyline for them to go on maternity leave. My wife tells me that Amy from Brooklyn 99 is pregnant, once you know that you can see them hiding it, but other than that you wouldn't know.

See also the "Band Camp" lass from How I met you mother. The episode where they had her doing eating contests and not disguising the bump was funny though...

I'm not creative so it's easy to comment from my chair, but there should be a way to follow the current storyline but still keep the level of funny geekyness they had to begin with. Sure, there won't be any ineptitude at chasing girls, but surely they can use the material they have better...

There were so many openings they simply haven't followed (yet).

Yes,I knew about Amy9.9....not Farrah Fowler.

She's doing a lot of sitting at her desk.

There we go. During the crowd meet & greet shown on the documentary about the 200th episode, there were a few people on the front row of the audience that looked like they got a view of not only the peaks but the little huts on the summits as well.

But with regard to the actual programme instead of perving after women half my age, the quality has dropped right off and it is turning into a soap. Although the 200th episode did have some good bits in it (Bawwy & Adam West mainly.), it seem to be something from a series called Everyone Loves Sheldon. The worst bit being Leslie Winkles grovelling speech. Terrible.

I knew there was another!!! It's because it gets stuck on bloody Dave!!!!
Parks and Recreation is my favourite easily and firmly destroys most yankcoms and firm edges out Modern Family.
I love P&R.
