Bit of a thread revival but just finished this last night, me and gf thoroughly enjoyed it and really quite gutted its over. Strange ending but I guess it made some sense. Great discovering series like this, makes for great binge watching.. But what next??

I still prefer Boyd in his SoA appearance!
Walton Goggins is always entertaining to watch, I find him a really good actor.

Whole series is a joke to be honest.
I'd guess 70% is nonsense and 30% actual decent watchable material. It's just the 30% is pretty good TV.

Have to agree with Blue. Could have acheived the same results with just 3 seasons.

Bumping instead of starting a new thread.. Anyone else waiting in anticipation for Soa spinoff "Mayans MC"?

Noticed via my YouTube feed that the pilot started filming a few months ago. I for one cannot wait for it, praying that it will be picked up by FX.

up to s7 ep2. Only discovered Soa earlier in the year, for some unknown reason I just kept putting off watching it, glad I finally watched it I'd place it above BB and the sopranos as number one show, tiggy deserves a show all of his own, only negative was Jax having to meet Mr mayhem for shooting that other charters prez,
when it was a self defense kill.

Apparently a few of the characters have been recast for it.

Would be good to see a few SOA make cameos in it as well, not sure if this is before, during or after SOA timeline.

Normally, bellies, beards, tattoos and Harleys would not appeal to me at all but I've always liked Ron Perlman as an actor so I thought I'd give it a go.
I was scratching my head during the first 3 episodes trying to figure out who the hell Sam Crow was getmecoatredface

I am onto S3 now, not sure if I'll stick with it to the end.

I lived in Prague for 6 years - Ron Perlman was over filming something or other and kept trying to buy narcotics off me. /random fact

Binge watching this at the mo, the Irish section was shocking, more so for the lousy accents, just get some northern Irish to play those characters ffs.

Into season 5 now, won't be long until I'm finished, anything similar out there worth checking out?

Also, something very hot about Maggie Siff (doctor), part of the reason I loved Billions.

Titus Welliver (who played Jimmy) has publicly apologised for the woeful accent. The Irish parts were utterly woeful and especially the scene filming - it was quite obvious filmed on a studio set in the U.S.

I'd recommend Bosch where he plays the lead character as a LAPD detective.
