I can't help but feel that Looci made Nick look a bit of a plum. You can't travel the world for ever you know. I agree marriage and kids isn't for everyone, but during the show she seemed to moan about something about him, can't dance, too keen etc. Even when one of the girls asked her about a kiss she was non committal. I wonder if she has commitment issues, or she realised she got caught up in the moment and didn't want to be there and didn't have feelings for him. She seemed all smitten and apologetic on the first show, then all off with him and tears on holiday when mentioiing how she'd never been that close with anyone else. Or maybe he's a bit of twit as he said that he'd changed. I don't know what that meant. So careful editing of where they discussed that and he looks all innocent.

And the odd socks, that was weird, but at least he didn't bother wasting his time, but he could have gone and had fun.

The other two who couldn't keep their hand off of each other, she could move, but when they mentioned about a second date you could see he was thinking holiday fling. smile

It was! So was the nose and voice - but for less good reasons :-)

Felt a bit sorry for Nick but saw it coming a mile off - she seemed very high maintenance mood wise!

Nick's non-show on the gossip...
Here's my penny's worth,
He claimed to have had met someone special.
No he hasn't, he didn't want to be faced with Looci and the other girl (his first choice)who'd later turned him down for a date on the phone.
I also bet he was at home looking through his photo album thinking of what might have been.
He's also shaved his beard off.

On the trailer for next week did the Scouse guy tell his date to "Calm down" smile

Odd sock guy struck me as being someone who was trying too hard to be "quirky" by wearing odd socks....

And the number of stupidly spelt names is getting on my nerves....

Odd sock guy was a moody tool.

Beardan was still in love with a mooody cow pulling the strings, best thing for him would be to stay away from her, she likes control. Hope his first pick responds to him.

Muscles just wanted a holiday shag. Not fair to mess the nice girl around, bet he gets an STD soon.

I sit corrected, I must have misheard.

I wonder if Locci just didn't want any of the other girls to have him.

Felt sorry for the young blacksmith / bmx / yoga bloke, he deserved more, then again he probably kicked himself when the mysterious girl came out of the lift. Pity it didn't work out between the older bloke ( the tailor) and his date . He seems a genuine fella.

Seems most of the girls are pretty vacuous , dancer and karaoke bloke gets loads of likes cos he's good looking, anyone remotely regular gets fkall. Like Vincefox said elsewhere, I'd love to see Jerry Sadowitz come out of the lift...

I'm watching this on +1.

The 2nd fella lost more than 50% after exiting the love lift.

If I had gave been him, I'd have taken the punt, Naomi was probably told to take him, right? She seemed less than thrilled...

Presumably, if the producers are telling the women what they must do, they're also telling the men what to do, so he probably had little choice whether to actually take the "mysterious girl" or not?

Imagine the tables turned and it was 30 men and 1 woman, it would be a total blackout in every round.

Less than thrilled is an understatement, she looked pretty pissed off! Like she'd been told to keep her light on for the next one no matter what! Me thinks that will be unsuccessful date next week, if not for the height difference if nothing else.

I sunno - i think if something like that was happening someone would have spilled the beans - although I bet they might get incentives.

They have, multiple times, just google "take me out fix"

Every year there's a girl or two moaning about being told by the producers what to do.
Every year there's an expose about 1 or 2 (or 15) of the girls and boys being in long standing relationships already ... they're all on it just to get on the telly / get noticed / get in big brother next.

Doesn't matter though, still makes watchable TV, even if it is all pre-arranged.

I have definitley noted this year that there is a lot more scriting in the little intros and stuff and quite clearly they have pre-discussed skits between the girls and Paddy.

Did feel sorry for the blacksmith. An ordinary bloke who would actually be a bit of a laugh. Some of the mutters on it need to have a reality check.

As for the first boy that came out. My God, obviously the women found him attractive but he sounded like a retard the second he opened his mouth. I mean who has a swagger these days
