Well I enjoyed the Camaro and Challenger, a nice counter-point to the Leaf.
They both seemed a bit rubbish in the corners though. Do they have LSDs or were they bother spinning the inside wheel for another reason?
I think that's more to do with Anglesey being a small circuit and prodigious toque (plus too much weight). I think even Tiff would have liked the Mustang with the Track Pack - far lighter and came out well against an M3 recently.

Mat Dawson did quite well I thought, mid engined 4WD car doesn't seem like the first choice for learning to drift.

Why did kryton neglect to mention the battery replacement costs, I'm sure that will put a dent in running the thing. The show seemed like a big advert except for the westfield who probably didn't have enough cash lol.
A Prius battery pack is about £1500 and is specified to last the life of the vehicle. Not bad considering the cost of turbo/injector replacement on modern diesels - which seem to need doing rather more frequently.

They are also spec'd to last the life of the vehicle. Its just that the "life" means roughly 100,000 miles. I'm not sure what Toyota's definition of for life is.

The warranty lasts 100,000 miles - is the expected life of any car until the end of the warranty period? There are Prius's which have done 317,000 miles on the original battery.

Not content with peddling an £8k Boxster, they've now gone for a Medium Cooper, must be worth all of £6k. How many weeks will it run?

Thought the CR-Z vs DS3 test was very silly, the two are not rivals in the slightest. The DS3 is a hatchback, not a coupe (Citroën don't even call it a coupe FFS) and it's in the B-seg supermini sector for size. The Honda is an all together bigger car and is a coupe. Don't see why anyone would compare the two. A better test would have been DS3 vs Audi A1 or MINI .... and CR-Z vs Scirocco TDi or RCZ HDi.

It's pretty funny when various people try to add up the carbon "costs" of something, there are so many ways of doing it that it is practically pointless. What of course no one mentions is that luckily we already have a pretty good system for counting the environmental impact of something, and that is it's, er, Cost. The price of an item pretty much reflects the effort that has gone into that item, so a car that costs £30k (like the leaf) will have pretty much generated twice as much Co2 as say a £15k car before it is even driven anywhere.
Any evidence to back up this supposed fact?

I also find it slightly suprising that a unbiased review could consider a small family car costing £25k (actually 30 before the gov chip in!) to be "reasonable value for money", yes, it has Sat Nav and electric windows, but that sort of thing is now std on a £10k car.
It IS pretty good value for money when you consider you will never tax it, never put petrol in it, and servicing is minimal.

There is only 1 truely green solution, and that unfortunately involves expending your own effort to move yourself via legs or a bike ;-) which for most "enviromentalists" is never going to happen....
Agree there is never going to be such thing as a "green" car, but the Leaf is about as good as you can get at the moment whilst still driving around a large hatchback.

Hmmm, sounds like my Mustang which, based on my use, is significantly greener than the Leaf.

Shame they didn't film the front of the M3 GTS, I wonder if that little off is the reason why it wasn't at Evo's car of the year this year.

Might be worth having for the rollcage and seats.
