I think that Lewis will play some part in the next series. Not sure if he will
Be the serial killer tho.
In the episode he was staring at dexter when he was asking to be kept on permanently so gotta be more there plot wise.Be the serial killer tho.
Oh, and I was up at 6.30am, off work now for xmas so was bored already by 8.30am when I suddenly remembered dexter was on last night, 4mins later and it's ready to watch!
Well, I thought that would happen at some point, but to end this series on it? When's the next one start again?
I think the hand will have a big impact on next season (or at least help kick it off) as Dexter didn't even see it in this episode, and that was all Lewis. Maybe it'll be a battle of Lewis setting up Dexter to get caught and Deb trying to protect him, a bit like in Deathnote where the series is just a battle of intellect (which Lewis obviously is good at).
Because of the 2 season thing I guess it's a easy prediction Deb will work with him, and I wouldn't see any reason why not now she's figured out she's in love or something complicated like that. I guess it's half a matter of how much she will find out. A one off murder or a serial killer that's been sweeping things up for Miami metro for years?
I wish I didn't have to wait, 1 week is bad enough between normal episodes.

I think this series was weak in a number of areas (too many coincidences and crappy dialogue) but the end mostly makes up for it.
There's a lot of characters whose development has stopped (Quinn being a bent cop, etc.) so there are plenty of directions the show can take so it'll be interesting how it goes on. Is it definitely finishing after the next 2 seasons or is just confirmed there will be at least 2 more?

Seems that it's just been picked up for another 2 seasons. Doesn't say if there's an end in sight.
To be honest, it's still good enough that I don't mind it going on for a few more series.
I think the writing needs to be a bit more convincing though or it's going to jump the shark pretty soon. Way too many coincidences. They need to look back at what made season 4 so amazing and try and get some of that pacing back.
