I didnt know there had been a season 2 so when i saw episode 2 on telly i was a bit confused. Caught up with series 3. Bit of sad end to last episode.

In episode 5 ‘the winds’, John Cooper bonded with the abandoned little boy; towards the end, the boy asked if he could stay with John and John said no.

At the beginning of last night’s episode, there was a 5-secod ‘blink and miss it’ moment that explained why John Cooper could not take in and look after that little boy.

Is this filmed without the streets being closed for a lot of scenes, there seems to be a lot of people in the background gawping at what's going on instead of going about their business as if nothing's happening the way extra's normally do?

It's always been known that Cooper was Gay. But the great thing is that the show doesn't make a big thing of it. It doesn't affect his ability to do the job or affect his private life. Grown up film making

I think that's a good thing. I daresay real Police will say they always get an audience when working.
