Anybody else watching it?

Watched it last week and enjoyed it, a fair few laugh out loud moments this week as well.

Thought I'd give it a go esp as Tom Holland in the lead, good actor. I'm enjoying it seems well written prob by some one who knows the politics of the church!

Persuaded hubby to watch it and he seemed to laugh a few times smile

Caught it by accident I think (under advertised?). It is ace, not hilarious but subtle and more real plus it has the great Tom Hollander.
Glad I caught it, only missed the first ep, it is now sky plussed.biggrin

It wasn't that bad, better than I was expecting.

A little predictable at times though, and I am a bit disappointed that I missed the first episode to set the scene a bit more.

This was fantastic last night.

Cant help seeing an element of Father Ted in it?

His mug with "More Tea Vicar" on it...priceless, so many things to watch for.

Glad I am not the only one who really loves this programme.

It has that 'something' about it. Predictable in places, but I also like the sudden outbursts.

I just hope its not a one-off and given another series as it needs to grow.

Amazingly under-advertised compared to other comedies. confused

I've seen two episodes, is that all that have been on?

The first was definitely the best I think.

I saw a couple of short ads and noted Tom Hollander was in it so worth a shot, then saw him interviewed on BBC breakfast, I've really enjoyed it so far. Can't believe they didn't promote it more, ridiculous.

Thanks for reminder. Still under advertised compared to utter st like Horden and Corden.

Actually take that back. According to this poll they are the BEST ever.

Only just found this thread. smile
A brilliant new comedy, well cast and performed and over too soon. Hopefully a second series is on the cards.

Rev is just brilliant on every level, that last episode where he had the crisis of confidence was hilarious, there were a few proper laugh out load moments. I realy hope this gets recommissioned for a few more series, one of the best new comedies in years.

My favourite bit was in the corner shop with the Jaffa Cakes! rofl This deserves to be on BBC 1.
