It seems slightly stupid showing the clips of american accidents repeatedly, most of which have been during car chases and I'm pretty sure that truck blow out was as the result of a stinger. That bit at Oulton park was pretty cringeworthy too. If they want to do a "speed kills" show they should at least do it properly.

If only ITV had something similar to Points of View. Where we could point out the story about the DFT saying they were mistaken about the speed kills message. In that the numbers prove it doesn't really.

Agree with the chap who says motorway limit should be 85mph

I reckon they should have strict variable limits, with very harsh penalties for those who break them.

Slower then 70 in heavy rain/very busy roads. Then faster on clear roads.

what a pile of stE! are these people serious? in response to having a clear ahead of you and wanting to do 85, they show a clip of an american car chase of the guy doing god knows what speed, BUT also driving like a pratt! running from the law and willing try anything, and we all know they end up crashing!

ooo look and empty duel carriage way! lets hide on a bridge past a corner and catch people as they go along nice and safley and sit right on their arse untill they pull over! (cuz thats safe!)

The stupid thing about that test is that you'd stop as soon as you saw an obstacle in the road and that tape could be clearly seen a long way before they got to their braking point.

That DB9 driver is a total idiot though.
