You can't say that. I'm going to try a reverse IP reveal to track you down...http://www.ip-adress.com/reverse_ip/

Very poor IMO. OK the plot's a bit daft but I can live with that. The annoyance is that you get 3/4 the way through an episode and all of a sudden the code's cracked, the perp's discovered and the problem's solved. Tonight's story would have been so much better if it had been spread over the whole eight episode series rather than all being tied up 55 minutes. Shame, it has the potential to be so much better.

Have to say I agree with you, theres so much potential to make a really good programme that the bad bits seem worse, Why did the submarines have to be invisible to radar and travel at 40 knots and have a range of 600 miles, that kind of thing makes it seem a bit st.Antony Moxey said:

I'm sorry. I don't understand what you've written. I'm going to have to trawl the non-indexed, deep web to construct a cipher...MiniMan64 said:
The new guy who was on the boat with the dodgy accent, what's he been in before?
IMDB is your friend!Mistresses perhaps?

I liked it.
I thought the last series plodded a little but this seems to have started well.
The whole submersible-EMP thing was far-fetched (to say the least) but, as ever with Spooks, it's the back stories that run throughout the series that make it properly compelling.
Harry and Ruth are brilliant.

I didn't really feel the submersibles, that was abit silly but the rest was good. I would have shot the girls mum in the leg or something to show I was serious rather than having to EMP Bomb London. It seems the blonde is now part of Section D, and Dimitri is "Piracy and Terrorism Case Officer, Section D".
Who was the man at the end with Lucas? I can't see Lucas letting him get far..
Also, is an EMP like that possible in real life?

i was wondering that as there would be so many uses or is it only poss via a nuclear explosion?"Non-nuclear electromagnetic pulse (NNEMP) is an electromagnetic pulse generated without use of nuclear weapons. There are a number of devices that can achieve this objective, ranging from a large low-inductance capacitor bank discharged into a single-loop antenna or a microwave generator to an explosively pumped flux compression generator. To achieve the frequency characteristics of the pulse needed for optimal coupling into the target, wave-shaping circuits and/or microwave generators are added between the pulse source and the antenna. A vacuum tube particularly suitable for microwave conversion of high energy pulses is the vircator.[34]"
While not perfect, I certainly enjoyed it!
Pros:
Pros:
- Harry the assassin - awesome!
- Harry & Ruth - esp. Ruth "what would we talk about with the neighbours?"
- Mumsnet reference - made me think of PH and smile
- Some of the timescale "liberties" - the quick lifeboat journey, Beth looking at 12,000 photos and preparing a full detailed printed dossier on a short hop plane flight.
- More relevations about Lucas' past? Not convinced - if they don't handle it right it's going to feel awfully forced.
