Ah, that takes me nack. I remember one episode when a whole RAF fighter squadron was scrambled to go after some bank robbers.
That's the one where they keep changing from Jaguars to Harriers and South Downs to Lake District each time hehe

And do you think Lewis Collins was a Shakespearian heavyweight?

hehe
What did he actually do apart from Who Dares Wins! (which I love and brought on Blu-ray recently btw)
Nothing of real merit, except perhaps as Colonel Mustard in Cluedo biggrin

I liked the Cuckoo Waltz.

Seem to recall there was Bucc in there, probably for the sake of completeness.

I thought Lewis Collins was great in the professionals and the fact that Roger Moore got bond over him was a tragedy! Sky one remade the professionals with two pretty boy band type actors one supposedly American special forces and the other some sort of Brit. It was truly awful. Formulaic unadventurous and designed for today's tracksuit wearing, high street dwelling, mouth breathers. The original episodes were quite hard hitting for their time and stand up well today. You'd think given the will, it would be easy enough to replicate today. Given that a series like mad men is ultimately about little else other than the characters interaction and is a massive success, there must be a place for the professionals in the modern jack Bauer Vacum of tv. No to statham though. He is living proof that lack of acting ability is no barrier on the road to success. Check his accent in "the one" with jet li from a few years ago...
