I don't get this about if the truck is late they are not going to accept the load. What is the supermarket or whatever going to do for stuff to sell if the truck has been sent back. Surely it would make more sense to unload the truck during the next time slot?
They don't reject the load as such but reject the time slot, most RDC's have very tight time slots, even as short as a 15 min window, if the driver misses it they are normally turned away and another slot arranged hense them saying a night driver would take it later on. Some perishables can be refused and sent back to the supplier but its normally the transporter (Stobart) who picks up the bill as it was them who delivered it late.
Remember with fresh food a supermarket truck is waiting on the delivery from outside suppliers, once it is delivered, it goes through the RDC very quickly and is off to the stores almost immediately. They wont delay the food getting to the stores because one truck is late.

Yes, me too and my twins, aged nine. They've been Eddie Stobart spotters for a year now (227 spotted, 818th in the ES league) and we've all followed the series avidly. So much so that they're nagging me to take them to Truckfest now....

Same here! A shame the series wasn't a tad longer. Only downside; as said, the over dramatics. I wonder if there will be another series in the near future?

Is there going to be another series?

How long will I be waiting? can I stand the tension? another drive & deadline packed story? Oh how am I going to live without a weekly dose of Stobart life?

yes there really is only one b in Stobart

hehe It is cringe-worthy but, I do find the specialist side of the transport interesting.

They spent so long keeping the trucks nice and clean and didn't realise they had to enter...

Really enjoyed the insight into Mercedes GP - I didn't even know Stobarts was involved, I wonder if these guys go back to normal Stobart duties when there's fly away races or in the winter?

It's amazing how similar club motorsport is to F1 though (last minute stuff!!)

Just have it on now to see the F1 bit.

"This week, a new trailer gets put through it's paces"

OH...........MY...............GOD....!

Not a new trailer. What incredible things might happen, boggles the mind.
